Hello, Mumsnetters! I have written about Aimee Challenor for Feminist Current. Please have a look! www.feministcurrent.com/2019/07/24/why-is-aimee-challenor-still-advising-stonewall/

Agreed with Arnold ^^
Thanks Glinner. The more straight talking articles we have like this the better. You need to start writing for the national daily papers!!

Arnold, says on that thread further down that Challenor's linkedin states that Challenor worked with Stonewall until July 2019. So looks like those ties have been severed.

Seems to be a time of change at Stonewall.

Ruth Hunt, Chief Exec, leaving next month.

Bex Stinson, former head of trans inclusion, gone very recently. Doesn't look like it was Stinson's choice to go.

Stinson now claiming to be a campaigning content creator on youtube. Which seems to be Stinson talking about trans issues. Presumably Stinson will be looking to nab funding from Stonewall, Mermaids etc.

Challenor now gone.

Sarah Brown next please.

That Challenor wasn't removed instantly means Stonewall have no concept of appropriate safeguarding.

Didn't the Veritas report acknowledge that Challoner also didn't understand safeguarding? Even when explained.

Stonewall are in no position to advise anyone about anything.

Alex Drummond reckons they bring out women's inner lesbian. Sarah Brown recommends people suck their 'formaldehyde pickled balls.'

And Challoner dates a paedophile.

Bunch of absolute weirdos.

Great article.

Popchyk · 28/07/2019 11:59

I will bet that Stinson and Challenor both received some cash in return for signing a non-disclosure agreement.

This will prevent them from saying anything negative about Stonewall.

Yes, and even then Stonewall saw no reason to remove Challenor. Despite Stonewall presumably using their trans advisory panel to draw up guidelines for schools, Girl Guides and other organisations.

Stonewall have proven themselves utterly unfit to be having any influence over policy regarding children and young people.

If Challenor has gone I'm very glad of it, but it does not even begin to address the underlying issues.
