"Like, some days I feel like a man, but then other days I feel like a woman"
My frustration is that we never get an explanation of what this statement means.
Feeling like a woman seems to mean liking sparkly glittery shallow shit apparently. And we're never told what feeling like a man actually is.
It seems to enforce the binary; not challenge it.
"Like, some days I feel white, but then other days I feel black". Imagine someone saying this and nobody asking any questions about what feeling white or black actually entails.
I'd love to see an interview with someone who said. "Like, some days I feel like a man, but then other days I feel like a woman and what I mean by that is ......
