As long as in the days he "feels like a woman" he doesn't then feel entitled to impose himself into female only spaces.

Really sad to see this. I always thought of the Queer Eye guys as expanding the bandwidth of masculinity Sad
I'm still struggling to understand what 'nonbinary' means. No surgery or anything I assume? Will he be using men's or women's facilities? Or mixing it up as the mood takes him? Hmm

JanesKettle · 11/06/2019 11:08

He can't know that he feels like a woman, because 1. there is no universal woman feeling and 2. even if there was, only women would feel it.

It's great to be gender non-conforming, but it's totally regressive to explain it via 'women's feelings'.

So tired of the nonsense. Really tired. Because I have kids with GD, this has been a dominant theme in my life for the past three years, and I am over it. I am over this regressive, anti woman, vileness.

Gender fluid baffles the fuck out of me. We are constantly told about male and female brains etc so, how can someone be one today and another tomorrow? Makes no fucking sense. I don’t know who this guy is but he mentions gender non conforming which is fine, I think more people should be like this. Gender is bullshit and made to keep us in our little boxes, it needs done away with and you are your sex and everything else is personality.

Feeling like you want to zhuzh it up some days is not “woman feeling”.

By all means bang on some guy liner and glittery trollies but can we stop making it mean anything more than “at times my tastes are a bit flamboyant”, please?

Non-binary, non-shminary.

**^^Do you think femininity is something everyone should try

And Jonathan’s definition of feminity appears to be wearing nail polish and scarves. Jon - you’re a bloke who sometimes likes to wear women’s clothes and makeup and nail polish. There’s nothing wrong with that (back in the 80’s there were lots of arty blokes doing just that) but NONE of it makes you a woman or non-binary. For the record I don’t wear nail polish so I’ve concluded I’m non-binary too.
