that parents are filling child's head with gender nonsense because it's "complex" and "cutting edge"?!?

Sounds like a weird case this. Social services dropped it but the family insisted on a public hearing...

@ScottishDoll

I thought the whole point of family court is that it is private, why is this public?
As far as I know, most of the time the Family Court proceedings are confidential and not open to the press, however this can change when judge rules they are to be made public in certain cases.

I bumped this thread discussing the 2019 case due to the significant role Dr Vickie Pasterski played as 'expert witness' and her links with Dr Helen Webberley (Gender GP)

@Fallingirl

This case reminds me very strongly of the Challenors. Before their children were eventually taken into care, social services had to withdraw a request to remove them from their parents due to Munchhausen by proxy. They didn’t have enough evidence, and the parents had an expert witness on side!

As a pp said further up, social services have to have a judge’s permission to withdraw cases.

The Challenor kids were eventually taken into care (I don’t know how or why), and one of them identifies as trans. According to Lisa Muggeridge, a history of abuse is more prevalent among children who identify as trans, than those who do not.

I won’t be surprised if SS are keeping a close eye on these foster parents, though sadly, if they are bankrupt that may not do a fat lot of good. But we can at least hope these two won’t be having any more children placed with them.

Thank you. I was trying to think of the name of the family. I think that Aimee has a half-brother or step-brother who also identifies as trans.
