Benjamin’s remarks would be unacceptable "down the pub", on Twitter or at the hustings. Rape jokes are never funny. No exceptions.

Something I cannot get my ladybrain around with the “wouldn’t even rape” ‘insult’ is - do these men think that “I would rape” is some kind of compliment? That women are all desperate for an appraisal of our fuckability that the arsewipe in question would violently sexually assault us?

How is it that Carl Benjamin can spout this bile about Rape on twitter on TV at political meetings - and remain an election candidate and apparently unvisited by the police - Contrast that with the rapid arrival of various police forces if you address somebody born with a male body with most/all of it still intact as a He - When they have said the magic spell ‘I am now a Lady’ with the possible consequence of prosecution and being arrested in front of your kids -

Suppressed, is he, by the establishment? He's standing as a candidate for a major-ish political party.
As for his 'gender critical views', excuse me if I take that with a massive pinch of salt after reading his delightful views on women and feminism.

Alright Linda I'm curious and it's always good to be curious so what's the difference between Carlos insisting that sex is a binary that needs to be enforced and like, me, who is gender critical. I know that he's almost universally a bigot but a broken clock is right sometimes ey. Otherwise I'm struggling to understand why his position is so eerily similar to my own on this one issue.
