Thought it might be useful to separate this from the John Boyne thread right now, as it's a slightly different subject.

James - he's challenging the stereotypes of who loves make-up, who does what. Many tweens and teenagers will be following James.

He's brave enough to discuss his sexuality on that video, and the old-fashioned Kinsey scale.

As you'll see from the Twitter thread linked above, James's comments in his YouTube video have caused ructions. Even James should never, ever, go there to suggest sex is a thing!

This is just further evidence of how ridiculous this whole thing is and how eventually the woke will end up eating themselves.

The sad thing, Barbie is that James is breaking down stereotypes of what 'makes a woman, what makes a man'.

And yet, the minute he talks about sexuality, and attraction, he's attacked.

Some people thanked Charles for his apology, but for others, the apology didn’t go far enough.

One person replied: ‘you said that being attracted to trans men makes you less gay. this tweet does NOT cover what you said even slightly. you fully implied that trans men are not real men. you can spout “you’re valid” bullshit all you want but that is NOT why people are mad at you.’

Another tweeted: ‘he clearly said something that invalidated a whole group of people! especially as an lgbt influencer with such a large following, he needs to fo (sic) better! this apology is not enough.’

AKA: James, despite being part of the LGBT, he's not doing enough in the T in the LGBt - so the message from the 'T' seems to be:

As a trans man, I see both sides of it. Being attracted to a trans man does not make someone "less gay." But genital preferences are also real, and if you're accustomed to one ideal version of what a man is, it can take a moment to adjust that image.

Being initially attracted to a transman doesn't challenge his homosexuality but if he were to pursue a relationship with the transman then it would, because that would not be a homosexual relationship.

DC (DD recently identifying as male - I guess could be described as having rapid onset gender dysphoria) is a massive fan of James Charles. Maybe this is a useful conversation opener.

But actually, it goes further than gay conversion. This kind of reasoning affects ALL of us, straight or gay (with the exception of bi I guess).

If, in some kind of dystopian horror future, rejecting an partner for sex or dating or marriage because they are, um, the wrong sex becomes a hate crime, then we are all in trouble. Hetero men will have to accept transwomen (ie men) as sexual partners if they (the TW) want them. (I can imagine some internal confusion there!)

I, as a hetero woman, would have to accept a transman as my husband if that was what they wanted; if I don't they could accuse me of transphobia.

Pretty much a nightmare, as well, if you actually want children and the specific genitals are crucial to that outcome!
I think many trans-allies have not thought this through to the logical consequences.

I know a very committed-to-the-cause American female trans-ally who is desperately looking for a second husband. If she's such an ally she really needs to date transmen as well. Yet somehow, I don't think that's exactly what she wants -- she recently rejected a guy because he has a man-bun. That's how fussy she is.

Yep, this is simmering because James Charles has said he is attracted to trans men, even if they have a vagina.

There will be plenty of gay men out there for whom a vagina is an absolute no no, and once they start getting some proper shit, which will surely happen soon, things will get very interesting.

You would think so. But isn't this what they're saying James should do? He found the transman attractive but ultimately (I guess) rejected them because of their um bottoms. That could be counted as transphobia.

My DD and DS (young teens) are really into YouTube, so I’ve seen a lot of James Charles and Jeffree Star videos (not really who they are into but they like Shane Dawson, so it’s the same crowd). I really liked that both JC and JS are unapologetically men with an appreciation for make up. They clearly don’t conform to gender stereotyping and do so in front of millions of people weekly. I’m not overly keen on the use of “bitch” being thrown around by this crowd.

On this topic I feel really sorry for JC being dragged to bits. He is a teenager discussing his sexuality and being open and honest which is a huge deal. The TRAs and their brainwashed gender cultists seemingly took a break from chanting “trans women are women” long enough to watch a video for the purposes of being outraged and are now tearing a teenager from limb to limb because he dared not exactly, 100% toe the line.
A gay teenager who has a fleeting attraction to someone who presents as the same sex but who is actually the opposite sex must be very confusing to them, especially in a world that increasingly wants everyone in little boxes. It would be very difficult for a teenager to say anything about this without being tripped by the trans wire.

They will try to ruin his career if he does not submit to their demands.
