Your understanding of the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 is incorrect. A spent conviction is a spent conviction unless covered by the exemption order in the prescribed circumstances. Discussions on an Internet forum are not such circumstances.

A "pretend lawyer" does not have a qualifying law degree, professional vocational legal qualifications, appear (and appeared) as an authorised advocate in court and be subject to regulation by a recognised professional body. Are you suggesting I have none of the aforementioned qualifications, or that I have never been regulated by a recognised professional body in the legal profession?
