“Trans day of visibility” being on Mother’s Day

All right, I know it’s probably because the Trans day of visibility thing is American driven and their Mother’s Day isn’t today...

But i’m feeling petty, and it feels like announcing today as the Trans Day of visibility feels like one more way to say “budge up women, we’re sharing your day; please focus on us today, no one cares anout what your uteruses have done; not all women have uteruses you know” etc etc.

My local police force have made a Facebook post showing a photo of them proudly flying the Trans flag at their HQ. So far absolutely nothing recognising all the mothers that work for them.

All the flowers in the shops yesterday were for mothers not transwomen.

Only a few hard-core blue haired types will be fawning over transwomen today.

Most people will be enjoying being treated or be treating their Mother today.

Can't let us have one day !! It is Mother's Day in the U.K.. Not let's celebrate men saying they are female day.

It's been the same date since it started in 2009, the fact it falls on mother's day is just a coincidence.

Just think how it's eating up TRAs that we have Mother's Day that no matter what the ideologists believe, only adult human females give birth.

They can rage all they like and divert attention. Police forces can look as woke as they want, because they are forced too, but all of us are only here because a woman gave birth to us.

I'm enjoying the free gift of even more people peak-transing as the visibility of this increases.

Just ignore them. Mothers day isn't going anywhere, the card and flower industry will see to that.
Not only that, it's even possible to do both things at the same time. People can celebrate mothers day and remember trans family and friends if they want to. I'm sure some people do that without making a song and dance out of it.

But isn’t Visibility fixed to 31st March, whereas the date of Mothering Sunday (clue in name) isn’t a fixed date? So it’s only annoying like once every seven years?

My local police force has posted 'Happy Trans Awareness day' on their FB page too. The Great British Public aren't buying it...

Yes I think so. I'm not going on Twitter today, and am planning to spend it with my lovely mum. So it won't annoy me. It's utterly irrelevant to the vast majority of the population.

I’m delighted it’s not on a weekday this year, so I don’t have to waste energy suppressing my Problematic Attitude in my place of work woke.

Instead, I’m being adored by the fruits of my womb and having Problematic Attitude on FWR.

The driving organisation IAM Roadsmart forgot Mothers day last year. This year they have posted on a pink background happy mothers day including dads, carers, anyone wirh the role of mother!

On Facebook and Twitter I should have said.

Was puzzling over that then realised it was a leap year!

So trans people might have to think of their Mothers on their special day. And it’s not all about them.

I guess if they’d avoided March then they could have avoided this issue.

In 2024 there will be a clash with Easter Sunday, the day a man is celebrated by some for having risen from the dead, leaving his dead body and that life behind.

My local police force have done the same, not sure if it’s the same one. Safe to say it hasn’t gone all that well.
