Thank God for all this coherently written down in one place. It is awful, awful reading, however have we come to this?

I found this deeply shocking.

'Lesbian' is defined by the Equality Act as a female homosexual who is same sex attracted

Telling lesbians that their sexual orientation should be stamped out is homophobic hate speech.

Coercing lesbians to have sex with male bodies people is gay conversion 'therapy'.

A lot of people (especially those commenting on how lesbians are phobic or discriminatory) don't understand discrimination and equality legislation, what its for or how it works, and that should be a concern for anyone who supports human rights.

Just read the findings. It’s awful. There’s nothing progressive or inclusive about coercing unwilling women to have sex with men, regardless of how those men choose how to present.

That's incredible. Does anyone know how it's going to be used? Is it intended to be sent to government bodies, newspapers etc? If not then it needs to be 100%

I really hope it is not ignored. So far, despite the hashtags, surprisingly the TRAs don't seem to have started tantruming over the incontrovertible evidence a good portion of them of narc bullies carrying an unhealthy dose of standard male entitlement and misogyny.

Ugh. There needs to be an official reiteration of the equality and sexual orientation being a protected characteristic.

It's not often that you see grooming and unapologetic rapists in plain sight. But there they are...... Repeatedly targeting young women.

God the findings and the twitter screen shots. It's really really bad, much worse than I thought. I don't mix in circles to be informed on this so this is useful and depressing in equal measure.

I will try to take something quite positive from this as surely the T needs to be cast off from LGB now as this shows how serious the misogyny and homophobia, specially against lesbians is...this must the beginning of the end?

I could only stomach about 12 of those tweets before I clicked away. The answer to every single one I read was to think the person tweeting was out of their minds. And not in a fun way.

I got to 40 and couldn't go on. Such a hate filled movement. Shockingly, transmen aren't out in force demanding gay men have sex with them. Can't imagine why

I'm going to send the report to my MP but I think I'll wait for a lull in the Brexit chaos, because this deserves proper attention.

Earlier this month, the government published a report titled "Healthcare amongst lesbian and bisexual women". It's here www.gov.uk/government/publications/national-lgbt-survey-2017-healthcare-amongst-lesbian-and-bisexual-women

"This report is one of a series of short thematic reports, which present further analysis of the survey. It builds on the findings of the main research report. This report presents key findings on healthcare amongst lesbian and bisexual women who responded to the survey. The analysis of cisgender and trans women are presented separately as the main survey revealed that the two groups report different experiences."

I read them all. Recurring themes are a belief that lesbians are all having sex with each other using strap-ons, and therefore shouldn't have a problem having sex with somebody with a penis . And that same sex attraction is creepy and gross.

If those comments were made by heterosexual men without a doubt they would be called out as homophobic. I don't understand why comments of this nature are acceptable when spoken by a transwoman. .

The transwomen with peen who fancy men don't seem to be out in force telling straight men that they're disgusting terfs for excluding them either.
It's just plain old rapey male misogyny.

I emailed the organisation asking if they had plans on how to use the report. I personally think this needs to be sent to every paper and politician that we can think of but obviously want to let the authors take the lead.
