I strongly suspect the Olympic Committee have not done lots of research into this.

I suspect they've been bamboozled by TRAs like Rachel McKinnon's "assertions" that transwomen don't have an advantage.When it's quite clear that people who have been though a male puberty have a clear advantage. You only have to look at them!

Not when the general public come to understand what that actually means - a shortened lifetime of a damaging drug regime and infertility.

No parent will support that for their child.

Is that the same Lucy who was just on the radio? its not the best medium for transwomen with masculine voices, just adds to the confusion.

It is unfair to the whole of women's sport.

I'm not surprised by the unchallenged assertion about pre puberty transition. The Derbyshire programme is an uncritical cheerleader for medically transing children for a start.
But also, it's the most obvious Genderist response to the mountain of evidence that males have advantages over females through the natural changes of puberty. I suspect we will see more of it.

@ToeToToe Agreed. I doubt they've done much because if they had, it would have been used to address individual points at every opportunity.

no there aren't, the Guardian publishes headlines like 'Opinion Divided' when there it is retired gold winning Olympians with no pesonal interest versus self interested nomarks.
