Apparently a woman spent 8 hours in a cell/being interviewed by the police for a "transphobic" Tweet along the lines of TWAW. Can't bring myself to buy the Mail tomorrow to check the details, but it may be taken up by other papers.

Pain I was thinking along similar lines. Friendly IT mate doing some digging and joining of dots perhaps?

BrizzleMint · 11/02/2019 23:55

or information which is false and known or believed to be false by the sender;

So what's the position if a woman, who just happens to have a penis sends messages saying that she is female ? Given that females don't generally tend to have a penis then it'd be false. I'm sure that there are intelligent penis owning females out there who have a suspicion that they might possibly be male.

terfsandwich · 12/02/2019 00:36

I think they're missing some crucial stuff about Hayden being an elected student union officer. I remember reading about it here.

Carowiththegoodhair · 12/02/2019 00:46

Wish I could add these.

Hayden being nice and threatening there.

Solidarity, Caro Thanks

The amount of info KF has dug up on the ballswaxer is extraordinary; and they are meticulous about archiving. I'm afraid the beast has been unleashed, and lawsuits from the UK will be worth diddlysquat when you're suing someone in Florida who doesn't give a fuck. In fact, it'll only spur them on.

Looks like the Haddock and Sprout connection is being documented too.

Their plan with our Canadian friend seemingly was to get the ballwaxer's name(s) associated with the KF thread onto the front page of the search engines, and that seems to have worked. Anyone searching for them will be able to read the full tampon-related story in gory detail in a couple of clicks.

Iused2BanOptimist · 12/02/2019 07:21

Such a nuisance I have to go to work and can't spend the day watching the fun. No 🍿 til dinner time!

Beerincomechampagnetastes · 12/02/2019 07:22

That KF thread Shock

Why can’t you post on it Caro?

andyoldlabour · 12/02/2019 07:39

Caro

"Also. An interesting comment on this blog. Sorry if it doesn’t do the clicky link."

I saw this yesterday, and read through the whole article plus the comments. There didn't seem to be any mention of Hayden in the article, but the 3rd last comment by Mr Hardy June 19th 2014 was very interesting.
Here is what the SRA has to say:

"It is an offence for an unqualified person (someone who is not both on the roll and in possession of a current practising certificate) to act as, or pretend to be, a solicitor."

www.sra.org.uk/sra/decision-making/guidance/admission-solicitor.page

As we can see from my earlier post @ 11 Feb 22.54, in the Companies House link, Hayden describes their business as "Solicitors". Hayden is the only person working at that limited company.

TimeLady · 12/02/2019 07:41

I would suggest you send any info directly to Null, who runs KF, Caro. Contact details on the KF site. He was very helpful to Miranda.

DisrespectfulAdultFemale · 12/02/2019 07:44

I will probably be flamed for this but I quite like the ethos of KF, which is "We don't give a fuck". No, I don't agree with - or like - everything that is posted there but the same is true for MN. There is a fair amount of noise to signal but that's also true of MN.

The good bits are informed and clever and witty and tenacious. As far as the bad bits - that's what the scroll button is for.

And the same goes for the Daily Mail.

TimeLady · 12/02/2019 07:47

The 'solicitor' bit come from the relevant SIC code, Andy

www.siccode.co.uk/sic2007/code-69102

SIC Code 69102: Solicitors

List of activities classified inside the UK SIC Code 69102
Attorney
Lawyer
Solicitor (own account)

Looks like it's being used as an umbrella term.

Carowiththegoodhair · 12/02/2019 07:49

I don’t have a KF login and the video captcha won’t play. Probably just as well. One of the comments on that blog said this.

TBF to KF, they do insist on sourced material. It's the brutal added comments on said material that wouldn't be permitted on MN, even though I expect at least some of the MN mods have been over on KF taking a peek. If I was being sued, I'd want to know my enemy. Wink

andyoldlabour · 12/02/2019 07:59

"The 'solicitor' bit come from the relevant SIC code"

I know, but it is very misleading as Hayden is not registered on the Law Society site as a "solicitor".

TimeLady · 12/02/2019 08:02

I agree it's very misleading, Andy, but it doesn't look as though rules are being flouted.

TimeLady · 12/02/2019 08:07

Caro I was too timid to sign up for KF, once I read the terms. Grin

Your story is already on their radar and is getting a sympathetic hearing. Just trust them to dig up any dirt out there, and sit back and watch the denouement of the lawyer - and friends.

TimeLady · 12/02/2019 08:10

Oooh, looks like Haddock has a KF 'proving grounds' thread which they're now going to revisit and update. Wink

Needmoresleep · 12/02/2019 08:16

I like the KF forum rules. Blunt, and no exhortations to be nice. It is useful that there is somewhere that stores the internet flotsam and jetsam, but my understanding is that some of the early stuff, at least, was close to bullying/stalking. I like their lack of appreciation of ‘Social Justice Warriers’.

I have peeked at the ball waxer thread and the new one, but my personal boundaries, whilst happy to embrace the DM, preclude browsing KF.

Iused2BanOptimist · 12/02/2019 08:17

Heh. I try to spot the Mumsnetters on KF as I'm pretty sure some are there and I had you down as one Timelady Grin

I'm definitely too timid. But I like their no bull shit instructions like not being a back seat moderator and not derailing (or rather trying to derail) a thread.

Katvonfelttipeyebrows · 12/02/2019 08:20

The edgy bois and grrls are doing a good job recording the insanity over there on KF.

*off for my shower

TimeLady · 12/02/2019 08:24

There are certainly some MNs on there. I too haven't ventured out of the ball waxer's thread, but I shall follow these latest ones with interest. It should be a salutary lesson to some that behaving like an insane bully towards women defending their rights on social media can have unpleasant - and permanently archived - consequences.

SonicVersusGynaephobia · 12/02/2019 08:49

I just read Steph's KF thread. Well, well, well, that was a read! She* will be raging.

What is the deal with Steph and Harrop? It seems they first met in person only recently, as in a few months ago, but suddenly Steph is meeting up with Harrop and going to his family birthdays and seems to be well inserted into Harrop's inner circle.

Steph does seem to idolise Harrop. I am getting vibes of Steph having a massive crush on him. I don't feel like it goes both ways. I think Harrop maybe finds Steph more 'useful' than shaggable.

I wonder what Harrop's husband makes of it all.

RockyFlintstone · 12/02/2019 09:31

Harrop is married?

His husband must be mortified, surely??!

RockyFlintstone · 12/02/2019 09:33

How do I find the Kiwi Farms thread of which you all speak?
