I've not said anything about the whole Posy debate has she's just one person and not really the issue. I do think there is a tendency with English feminist to ignore the risk of getting in bed with right wing American fundamentalists though. And yes, it is privilege, a word I know lots hate here. But it's true. English women aren't worried about losing reproductive rights, they can focus on the trans thing as though it's the only important issue. American women are losing the reproductive rights left right and centre and I for one think doing anything to make these groups look legitimate while knowing it will no way infringe on your life style is unfeminist and wrong. I thought Jean Hatchet was spot on with her blog.
