Imagine if these men were women.....

  • Donald Trump
  • Piers Morgan
  • Boris Johnson
  • Russel Brand
  • Jeremy Pacman
  • Lance Armstrong
  • John McEnroe

Just pondering, really.

I would imagine they would all be called a mixture of bitch, slut, bunny boiler and psycho. A lot of these are already vilified but I just can't help but think it would be so much worse if they were women (Lance Armstrong for example 'This is why women can't compete at that level in sport')
The irony being if they were women they probably wouldn't have got to the level of fame and success they have. Sad

Sorry, meant to ask - any others anyone can think of?

Good point. I don't think a single female version would have had the same success. Possibly Lance (Lana?) Armstrong but the fall would have been much harder.
A Jane McEnroe would never have got away with those temper tantrums and there's no chance a female Trump would have been able to mindlessly bully their way to the top.

BasilFaulty · 07/11/2018 08:24

Very true stars

Imagine Jenny Paxman, belittling and shaming the contestants on university challenge, even though 'They are all so much smarter than her she's probably just jealous, silly bitch'

Jane Mcenroe is a psycho and can't control her emotiins, this is why women shouldn't be in sport. and she's probably on her period

A Rosa Brand would be tabloid fodder who was only famous for the people she had slept with.

Annandale · 07/11/2018 08:30

Pips Morgan is such a smug middle class Mumsnetter, doesn't know anything about the real world.

I like this game.

SaskiaRembrandtWasFramed · 07/11/2018 08:43

Yes, it's fun. Rosa would also regularly feature in shaming articles in fashion magazines who described her dress sense as 'quirky', when they really meant 'bag lady'. Much as they do to Helena Bonham Carter

Isn't a female Piers Morgan Katie Hopkins?

(ok, without the history of tabloid editor bullying, insider trading and phone hacking).

I just watched the 'She's Beautiful When She's Angry' documentary about women's libbers/the feminist revolution on Netflix and was reminded that one of the key consciousness-raising questions the women asked themselves was:

"How would my life be different if I had been born a boy?"

This thread seems in that spirit.

SaskiaRembrandtWasFramed · 07/11/2018 09:08

I watched that a while ago, it was so inspiring. And unusual to see a documentary like that, I don't think you'd find it on terrestrial television.

LikeDust · 07/11/2018 09:16

Rosa Brand would thoroughly be ridiculed for her promiscuous behaviour everywhere she went and people would despise her. She would probably get people hollering insults, spitting at her - it would be relentless and hard to go out in public.
People would also say "why doesn't Rosa just shut that big mouth of hers?" everytime she spoke. Her fans would all be disgusting lecherous men who would let her know all the gross porn-inspired ways they wanted to violate her and assume she'd take it as a compliment.

Popchyk · 07/11/2018 09:23

Rosa would feature heavily in the Daily Mail sidebar of shame when Rosa is out and about shopping in scruffy loungewear.

Pippa Morgan would give lots of interviews about how Pippa juggles parenthood with presenting a TV show. And become the face of Asda or something.

WhatTheWatersShowedMe · 07/11/2018 09:30

Rosa Brand would be painted as a pathetic/ tragic figure that would be laughed at and ridiculed for their drug problem and promiscuity.

claraschu · 07/11/2018 09:33

I was imagining how they would behave if they were incarcerated in a women's prison.

Imagine having Donald Tr*mp as your cellmate.

Badstyley · 07/11/2018 09:44

Pippa Green would be a sad, desperate drunken old slag.

Barbara Johnson would be in incompitant waste of space who would’ve never got higher than the constituency party.

Germaine Norton would probably be an ugly old dyke who never made it passed The local news or radio.

Georgina Michael probably would’ve been a pathetic, drug addicted old dyke who was constantly followed by the press because she deserved what she got. Like Amy Winehouse but worse for being a lesbian.

BasilFaulty · 07/11/2018 10:09

Thank you for all getting into the spirit of this!! 💪💪

Clare (Chris) Brown is an out of control black woman and has shine a light on the domestic violence men experience. She would never ever sell one record ever again I absolutely guarantee it.

Karen Spacey would have been labelled as an aggressive, sex-crazed cougar, and her career would have begun and ended with small parts in soaps.

Sharon MacGowan's dreams of being the lead singer of a popular cult band would never have got off the ground unless she'd had major dental and cosmetic surgery, learnt to sing, and become a teetotal vegetarian.

Jane-Z would be a pathetic wannabe hanging off her more talented husband’s coattails. She’d never have her clothes on because all she’s got to sell is her body, and her husband Breynce should leave her because she’s a slut and she degrades him.

Serfisafleur · 07/11/2018 11:51

Simone Cowell. Jeez what a total bitch. She could never in a million years understand the music biz.

Serfisafleur · 07/11/2018 11:53

Justine Beaver. Why is everyone watching this white child trying to rap on YouTube? She should be singing nicely and wearing a crop top.

Badstyley · 07/11/2018 12:27

Billy Allen would be seen as something of an intellectual and a social commentator. He would be admired for his openness about how difficult it is for a white middle class man to succeed in music, and his admission to paying other men for sex would be seen as progressive in its frankness and vulnerability. Mean while Kelly Lamar would just be a talentless gobby bitch with an annoying shouty voice.

ErrolTheDragon · 07/11/2018 12:42

Nigella Farage? Nope, never heard of her.

Danaquestionseverything · 07/11/2018 12:49

Rosa Brand would be subjected to the same ridicule Lindsay Lohan received.
