Here is an example of a particularly nasty outpouring of male rage over the Trump thing. Fuck you women, how dare you say no to men. He comes right out and says it (as part of a longer FB rant - this is a man called George Godwyn, who appears to be a standard wokebro with the standard longing to release some of that pent-up misogyny in a socially acceptable way).
Some of the reactions to this have been a bit funny in their ridiculous hyperbole about trans people not actually existing if we acknowledge that sex is a thing, but some like this are truly chilling. I know most women here are already fully aware of this, but to anybody reading who's still thinking we can all just be nice about this, no we can't. The push to abolish sex and replace it with gender identity is coming from people who don't think women should be allowed any boundaries around intimate spaces for any reason. Women saying no absolutely enrages them. If men commit violence against gender non-conforming people, it was women's fault for having boundaries.
Women, do what men say. Or fuck you.
