I hope Bexs's performance on WH this morning shows people what they want.

This is unbelievable. And equally believable. No-one likes to be attacked/abused but given that ordinary women have had and continue to have the courage of their convictions I would have expected more of our elected representatives. What the hell is going on.

Hopefully it (MPs being scared) will be reported tomorrow and will peak a few more people.

I can't think of any other "political" groups in our democracy with this reputation - only criminal and perhaps facist groups? Quite astonishing!

Again, who is leaning on those MPs, and why? I don't think it's the voters they're scared of.

These are the people who are supposed to stand up to Putin. Perhaps they should ask the TRAs take him on for them.

Clever MPs will realise that there is much more political capital to be gained by standing up with David Davies than by remaining cowed.

Women really are the being asked to be the human shields by all sides in this, aren't they?
This is a problem that has been created by males, some of them actually dangerous, with an astonishingly strong drive to protect their own perception of themselves and prioritize their feelings at all costs.
Women are in the firing line, having to stand up for their own rights with no support, risking abuse, violence and harassment. Women are forced to cede their female-only services and accept the increased risk from mixed sex spaces. Women are being told their perception of reality is not only wrong, but hateful. Women are being told that their careful thoughts, evidence, data, feelings, same-sex orientation and materially-rooted identity are not valid. Women still have to fight just get their voices heard, with little official support, even though women's voices are saying what everyone is really thinking.
This is misogyny.
Women are being treated like shit, but keep going because they are courageous.
