Today's article about the Fairplay for women advert repeats a non-attributable quote,
"Critics have accused the newspaper of taking money from the group to publish “anti-trans propaganda.”

It has struck me given the apparent regualarity with which MPs stand between the PN banners and the number of pro-trans-propaganda pieces that some consideration needs to be given to the influence the business and its owners and editors have.

Recently it transpired that so-called ‘deadnaming’ – referring to a previous name of a trans person – is also banned.

If deadnaming becomes officially illegal where the trans Taliban have influence – which appears to be pretty much everywhere except perhaps the Galápagos Islands – it will be perfectly legal for dangerous male sex offenders to hide their previous identity, and, in turn, apply for jobs and voluntary posts with vulnerable groups. There have been a number of cases where men who identify as women and who have committed crimes while using the threat of reporting ‘deadnamers’ to hide their past.

What has happened to Murphy will act as a deterrent to other feminists to speak out against this horror-show. The transgender extremists are the new misogynistic men’s rights movement. So-called progressive men are telling us we have to accept a dude as a woman, or we will be damned by history. I warned feminists this would happen back in 2004 when the trans Taliban first came after me after I wrote a feminist critique of trans ideology, but most were too scared or cowardly to speak out. Now is the time for us all to get brave, join forces, and shout out, ‘Enough is enough’.

This headline. It's not half of Scottish people. It's half of the people that realised a consultation was happening. A consultation that was heavily pushed by the "woke" community and could be filled in by anyone (I believe, regardless of country of origin)

'Father Ted writer Graham Linehan compares trans activism to Nazism'

Father Ted and The IT Crowd writer Graham Linehan is under fire after likening transgender activists to Nazis.

The TV writer made the comments in an interview with internet radio show Derrick Jensen Resistance Radio.

Linehan, who has come under fire for his outspoken views on trans issues on Twitter, said that he would not stop talking about the issue.

Speaking on the radio show, Linehan: “People do get very nervous… it’s like putting your hand on a flamethrower. The opposition is so extreme and so frightening that eventually everyone is asking you to stop.

“My feeling is I can’t, because it’s too important. It’s too important to the women in my life and it’s too important to me.

“I’m now in a position where I can now answer the question honestly of, if you were around the time of something terrible happening like Nazism, would you be one of the people who said, ‘This is wrong,’ despite being opposed?

“I feel happy in myself that I’ve been one of the people saying up and saying, ‘No, this is wrong,’ despite everyone telling me not to do it.”

The writer continued: “When things are wrong, you should be allowed to point out that they’re wrong.

LGBT+ people on Twitter slammed Linehan over the interview, with one writing: “It sounds like you’re comparing trans people to nazis, and we both know that would be f**king absurd.”

Dr Adrian Harrop wrote: “Making a comparison between the actions or members of any group and those of the Nazi Party is, at the very least, a controversial tactic. But to make such comparisons in relation to a group of people who were themselves victims of Nazi genocide is simply indefensible and wrong.”

In a statement to PinkNews about his comments, Linehan said: “When a magazine purportedly for gay people, collaborates in homosexual erasure by indulging the straight fantasy that men can be lesbians, something has gone deeply wrong.

“As I said in the interview, I’m proud to be on the side of the many gay, trans and female people who are fighting against this latest onslaught by the patriarchy.”

Linehan was given a warning by police in October after a harassment complaint from a transgender activist.

The writer was warned to stop contacting transgender woman Stephanie Hayden, who he had deadnamed and referred to using male pronouns."

Yesterday, PinkNews ran an article on Irish writer/director Graham Linehan. In the article, PinkNews painted Linehan (a vocal ally to the lesbian community) in a distorted light, while quoting Dr Adrian Harrop (someone who lesbians consider extremely anti-lesbian) as though he’s an ally. This added to an already long list of complaints the lesbian community has about PinkNews—So many complaints in fact, lesbians quite often refer to the publication as “Penis News”.

When PinkNews writes on lesbian topics and issues, it’s often from a male point of view. In January of 2018, PinkNews added a woman to their staff. When asked online if she was a lesbian (multiple times, by lesbians in the community), there was no response.

PinkNews has also been routinely called out for sanctioning anti-lesbian slurs. The use of an anti-lesbian slur serves to endorse abuse against lesbians (including threats of violence against lesbians for innate same-sex attraction). PinkNews wrote an article defending the use of a slur that’s currently used against lesbians for being… well… lesbians. And in that same article admitted the slur was… well… a slur." (continues)

So yesterday Pink News ran a story, under the banner "this is totally wrong" describing a recent court case where a man had "pretended" to be a woman, and got teenage boys to send him naked photos etc.
The comments section was very interesting. Lots of "what's this got to do with the gay community" comments, but equally people arguing that self I.D would mean if this guy says he's a woman, then he's a woman.

Penis News, possibly on the realisation that they had just published an really fantastic argument against self I.D have now deleted the post. I'm pretty sure it's not on Facebook or Twitter.

I don't know the context for this statement but watching it without sound, I found it disturbing.
As others have commented on the thread, her body language seems more like a statement made under duress.
At face value though, this seems like effective re-education

Transgender powerlifter Mary Gregory, who claims to have broken four women’s world records in competition last month, has been stripped of her trophies and described as “actually a male.”

Gregory says she broke the squat, bench press, deadlift and total records for her weight class and gender at the 100% Raw Powerlifting Federation competition.

Following the event, Gregory posted on Instagram on April 27, thanking the federation for making her feel welcome as a transgender athlete and treating her as “just another female lifter.”

However, in a statement released on May 1, 100% Raw Powerlifting Federation president Paul Bossi said the group has stripped Gregory of her wins because he believes she is male.

“It was revealed that this female lifter was actually a male in the process of becoming a Transgender female,” Bossi said in the statement.

“Our rules, and the basis of separating genders for competition, are based on physiological classification rather than identification.

It's odd isn't it - I double checked and the Private Eye piece is current - but then that article I linked too is from the start of this year, and is the only sponsored article I could find.

The Private Eye piece does say DoJ investigation rather than legal action so maybe the sponsorship thing is new as is the DOJ action.
