Adey can produce the necessary level of cognitive dissonance to believe this shit because, and only because, he has no dog in this fight. He is a gay man. So he is never going to sleep with a woman (whether of the be-vulvaed or be-penised variety). He doesn't have to interacted with be-vulvaed women in any capacity whatsoever socially (other than hounding them on twitter). Doesn't have a wife, or daughter, to feel invested in the outcome of this. Nor is he under any pressure to form an intimate relationship with a transwoman.

So he can be as divorced from reality as he cares to be on this issue, because it is never going to come and bite him on the arse. Well, at least, not until he was stupid enough to get himself on Sky TV and into the Times, at which point several thousand real people pitched in to tell him he was a complete and utter twonk. Adrian is sincere about promoting Adrian, looking good to his friends, and promoting the TRA agenda. IIRC he was happy that the Twitter Account Transsexual Voices Matter got so much flak, and followed one of the fake accounts. That kind of thing makes me think he doesn't actually care about trans people, just "promoting the cause" and getting in with influential LGBTQ++++ activists. I felt like he had a barely contained rage at Posie, came across as incredibly patronising. The best part of this is that he is actually a doctor, who cannot define woman without resorting to circular logic, and then gets caught with his pants down when he says that of course he doesn't use the "identify as" definition in practice...
So very smart to demonstrate the bullying of trans activists, the demolishing of common definitions of words, free speech, and the nonsensical arguments of transgender activists front and centre.
We need every single person we can to start asking real questions about all of this.

Posie talked over him to ask a new question thus stopping him finishing answering the original question just as he said "target" and he took the opportunity to stop talking, which is a shame as he was about to dig himself a hole. Mind you he did that pretty well anyway. Posie came across so much better.

Poise was amazing, so clear and direct. He came across like a patronising man that so many women will recognise from their lives.
