Oh my word, it looked enormously to me like Posy was an exasperated mother who was sick and tired of some teenager's bullshit, and Harrop played the role of the dim witted, petulant teen perfectly.

I wonder if Harrop's mum or female relatives are (secretly?) mentally high five-ing P and all the other women. I imagine they have suffered his ego and stupidity for years.

The comments on the Sky Twitter feed are great. I think by far the best thing that could happen to our campaign is for people like Harrop to go on tv so people can see just how ludicrous and deranged they actually are. Poor Adie probably thought he came across really well, which makes it even more funny.

I'm very pleased Posie made the point that 'Dr' Harrop is (incredible though it may seem) an actual medic, not a PhD. That's the really batshit thing, in my view.

New here. I am not on social media and shy away from confrontation, and indeed people in general, but I so love this fabulous adult human female. I don't know why anyone thinks she did not come off well, she was brilliant. We need fierce sometimes, determined, unapologetic. She would not let him spout his nonsense unchallenged. Thats a good thing. We need to show we are angry. We do. I am so tired of women having to adapt their lives to accommodate others, men or other women. Now its our language? Why should we pretend this doesn't make us utterly insanely angry? Because otherwise the leftie dude bro's won't like us? will make fun of the 'mumsnetters' and drag out the same tired insults about our age, our work status, our class.... Come on! This has all happened because along the way we did not take our chances to stop it. We did what women always do, put others needs, feelings and wants, before our own instincts, our own comfort and our own safety. No more. Stop second-guessing yourselves and each other. We need all kinds of approaches right now. Thanks Posie. Oh and that man looked completely childish and out of his depth. I googled him and oh my goodness. I have a 17 year old daughter and am so worried about him ever treating her! This is why I only have WOMEN doctors.

There is somebody under the Sky News comments angry at Sky for creating a backlash against trans people. She should be angry at Harrop and his ilk.
