Why is Aimee referring to themselves in the third person? Does that often happen on their account? Bizarre.
Here is Aimee's statement:
31st August 2018
This Lunchtime I was informed I have been given a “no-fault” suspension by the Green Party of England and Wales so that an investigation could be carried out. I tweeted on the 28th of August my support of their investigation, and that I am working with it.
This remains the same, I will continue to cooperate with the Investigation, and hope that the Green Party will continue to work with me through this time.
I want to thank everyone who has sent me their support, from sitting Labour Councillors, to Young Liberals, to Young Greens, to those in the Green Party who stand by my side. I am thankful. I am saddened to see circumstances have forced me away from the Greens at a crucial point for our party, though I remain fully committed to our shared Green values of Environmental and Social Justice
I hope that the Investigation is able to run efficiently, so that we can all move forward together.
I am intrigued by the concept of the "no fault suspension" pending investigation. Wouldn't they all be? Why specify?
And another chance to distance themselves from David/Baloo/Lucy gone begging.
