I’d forgotten about Fay Presto! I thought she was well cool back in the day.

I read her tweets as I happened to be looking at Twitter at the time, I think she's been incredibly brave, especially the comment about LM.

I had a feeling Frances would be GC.
I encountered Fay Presto once in the women's changing room at a posh west London health club, about 20 years ago I think. She was very discreet. I recognised her from seeing her magic act once or twice in the late eighties.

Also, Fay Presto is s great example of an "old-school" transsexual who has an actual talent and career. Compare and contrast with many of today's transgender lot whose career IS BEING trans (and hounding women off twitter).

Also, unlike the current debate around the Masons, Fay Presto was expelled from the then male only magic circle after transitioning. I believe she then campaigned for them to admit women.

She’s been GC for a while. Nice to see a woman in the public eye with a reputation and career at stake - not give a shiney shite about being “polite and careful” whether you agree with everything she says or not.
