To summarize: my beloved @UKLabour now is entirely anti Semitic, admires men with dicks who pretend to be women, loves Burkas , admires terrorists, loves Stalin, gets money from press TV, levels Israel to Nazi Germany & is 5 % down in the polls. 👍

Nor me. I hate trans activists.

My friend is Fay Presto one of the first trans women in London. She is my inspiration. Not self ID freaks .

Yes to MsCourgette. There is a particular tone adopted by some men which really does make my palm itch.

Ereshkigal · 13/08/2018 17:26

They can all fuck off. Why do these self-important pompous misogynistic men feel they have anything to say of any interest to anyone?

HelenaDove · 13/08/2018 17:30

Traci Ann Oberman has been tweeting about the anti semitism but ive not seen any GC tweets from her.

SillySallySingsSongs · 13/08/2018 17:34

FB has been talking about anti semitism for a long time and it left Labour over Corbyn I believe.

Traci Ann Oberman has been tweeting about the anti semitism

As she us Jewish it is something that is obviously close to her.

Well, as she is also a woman, hopefully this issue (selfID) will also be close to her...

TerfsUp · 13/08/2018 18:52

Fay Presto. That is a name I haven't heard for ages. I hope Ms Presto is well.

AncientLights · 13/08/2018 18:57

More power to Frances: hope she's on here to read the support. Yep, all seem to be men telling her to STFU. They clearly have no critical faculties.

SunsetBeetch · 13/08/2018 19:01

Awww they are vewwy upset that they haven't been able to shut her up, and that she is getting lots of support and she "probably feels emboldened" now.

Who the bloody hell do they think they are? Hmm

Love Frances Barber.

Love Tracey Ann Oberman. Esp. as Auntie Val Grin

Love them even more now.

thatdamnwoman · 13/08/2018 20:21

Frances Barber, I love you. You speak for thousands of women. Thank you for using your reputation in this way. We know it takes courage.

Poor woke chaps out in force to knock her. They seem very shocked that someone as fragrant and glam as FB could disagree with them. Hairy lesbians yes, but the divine Frances? And their immediate instinc? Block the woman. Stop the woman from talking. All we need to know.

Sarahconnor1 · 13/08/2018 20:27

It's always men , usually the bearded types who think they can police women, our thoughts and our singles sex spaces.

Stay in your lane, you haven't a clue what it means to be a woman, and if you don't know why sex and single sex spaces matter, you are part of the problem.

Brava Frances.

NotMeOhNo · 13/08/2018 22:42

Sweetie. Ugh. Fuck off you condescending prat.

( @scyrene in case you ever Google yourself)

Vickyyyy · 13/08/2018 23:44

Always seems to be men trying to shut up women. TRAs seem to be almost all male. And get very very upset and ragey when they cannot get womens opinions censored/blocked/banned. Meet the new boss, same as the old.

I expect Frances is on the hitlist now, and the mass reporting will start to try and get her kicked off twitter. And suceeding no doubt as either the twitter automated system is shit, or the mods are shit and biased. One of the two. Pathetic.

Cartertheunstoppablesexmachine · 14/08/2018 00:04

Last week it was Ann.

Today has seen Frances and Rosa speak out.

More will follow.

Gratitude and respect, given how public their positions are. If you're reading, you make me proud to be a woman.

GenderApostate · 14/08/2018 08:17

The trickle of GC voices will turn into a flood now that a few extremely brave Women have spoken out.

Female MPs take note, you are supposed to speak for your constituents.

TransplantsArePlants · 14/08/2018 08:45

TRAs = almost all male
People who (really) attack transpeople = almost all male
People who (really) attack women = almost all male

I think there's some kind of lesson here

Childrenofthestones · 14/08/2018 10:09

From Frances Barbers Wiki page......

"In May 2017, Barber urged a vote for the Labour Party at the 2017 UK general election. Critical of Labour leader Jeremy Corbyn, she said "I will vote Labour holding my nose. Urge you too".[10] On 25 September 2017, she announced her resignation from the party, saying: "I can't belong to a party full of misogyny, anti semitism and thuggery"

Sounds like she is on the ball.

Popchyk · 14/08/2018 10:10

Further Tweets from Frances:

"You appoint a child boy to be a Women’s Advisor in the Labour Party who hates women. Honestly !"

"I don’t care about anyone’s sexuality or gender. But I do worry that a young boy is a woman’s officer for @UKLabour who clearly has a problem with women".

"I have no interest in arguing with horrible violent Trans Activists. You guys need to get your act together. I was on your side &then saw the misogynist hatred. Goodbye."

"I am totally engaged & engrained in the LGBT community. But the aggressive reaction from Trans Activists has put me off. My Lesbian friends feel very let down."

SirVixofVixHall · 14/08/2018 12:09

I have so much respect for Frances Barber for speaking her mind and not letting the misogynistic lefty men shut her up.

SirVixofVixHall · 14/08/2018 12:13

Agree take note MPs. You should be speaking up for us, not trying to impress the boys.
A shock to me, but my Conservative MP was far more polite, engaged and thoughtful on self id issues than the female Labour candidate who refused to even listen to me and was pretty rude and patronising , yet had nothing intelligent to say.

SirVixofVixHall · 14/08/2018 12:14

Also totally agree with Frances on the women’s officer issue. That lost a Labour my vote.

NameChangedAgain18 · 14/08/2018 12:21

Female MPs take note, you are supposed to speak for your constituents.

When I spoke to my MP (Conservative) a few months ago, she told me she would be speaking to people behind the scenes (she told me some of the people she had spoken to, and they were high up in government) until it was, hopefully, possible to discuss the issue in a more civilised way. I do think it’s now time for some of them to start speaking publicly.

SirVixofVixHall · 14/08/2018 12:37

Yes. They are all so scared of the twitter and media storm that they won’t speak up, yet I feel sure some of them must very much want to. The public are not behind this. Everyone I speak to in real life on self id etc, initially assumes we are talking about the tiny number of transsexuals, when I talk about what the trans umbrella actually covers now, or TopShopTravis, or a certain Labour women’s officer, they are first incredulous and then angry.
The only person I know who spouts the transwomen are women line with no arguments to back it up other than comparisons with gay conversion in the 50s Hmm is heavily involved in Labour.

SirVixofVixHall · 14/08/2018 12:39

I had thought Jess Phillips might speak up, I feel pretty disappointed that she hasn’t.

theOtherPamAyres · 14/08/2018 13:01

I had thought Jess Phillips might speak up, I feel pretty disappointed that she hasn’t.

I'm disappointed too @SirVixofVixHall.

She was a member of Maria Miller's Committee. She wrote a piece for the introduction to the Stonewall "Expert's report".

I really think that one of her constituents, or someone accompanying one of her constituents, needs to meet her face to face at her MP's surgery. Posie Parker's handy tips on meeting politicians is invaluable.

Birmingham Yardley anyone?
