I've written a song about gender

I thought I'd share.

They say 'Let's all be equal' & 'We're going to be fair'
But it's fine to have mixed gender panels with only males in there
No vags, no XX chromosomes but no-one seems to care
Gender's all for men

You can't unsee it once you've seen it

Balls, prostate & XY
However they identify

Fill a room with females & you'll hear the yells of hate
Bigot, bully, transphobe, terf, they'll scream & they'll berate

It was inspired by that Fawcett Society meeting where the President of the Lib Dems said she'd be happy with an all male parliament, providing half of them identified as trans. And nobody on the panel had the guts to say otherwise.

That's a perfect example of how gender equality has nothing to do with women's rights.

I've just had an even bigger compliment

Joss Prior, that well known trans activist, has retweeted my song.

It's immediately followed by a long list of replies criticising the scansion etc. Well, I scribbled it down in five minutes so there you go. I'll take note for next time.

But I thought it worth noting that all the comments seem to be limited to my writing style, not explaining why gender isn't all about the penis.

Well this is fucking brilliant!

Truth is truth, Empress! They can't argue against the penis, it's in their DNA. ;)

I wrote it in response to the recent Fawcett Society meeting where the President of the LibDems stated that she'd be fine with an all-male parliament if half the MPs identified as transwomen. In conjunction with the Conservative LGBT panel being all-male but again, mixed-gender, and transwomen being welcomed onto the Jo Cox Programme & all women shortlists.

Somehow you never hear about how an all-female group is fine as long as they're mixed-gender, do you?

We should fill a thread with these and maybe learn a few of everyones favourites, it would show people we are not hateful, anyone who see's us singing whacky songs like these when we are protesting would just laugh along with us.
