On a related note I wonder how the Sufragettes would have been viewed by many at that event - there was real discomfort in the room at the:
political question
by a woman
to politicians (also women)
about a matter of critical importance to women

To be honest when I first saw it I felt the anger that must have motivated the suffragettes, and had a fantasy version of me asking a follow up question Smile

And I totally know what you mean.

It's not exactly marches, heckling, civil disobedience, direct action, hunger strike thanks wikipedia

It was really horrifying what they went through. They force fed them. They didn't only do that through their mouths. Courage calls to courage everywhere.

I'm with Ova

So at an event named after Fawcett, merely 100 years on from women getting the vote and having a political voice they have the temerity to state that a parliament comprised of 100% of people born male would be a great thing and so progressive for women.

Fucking hell. I used to think these people were stupid now I just think they are evil.

So many sex traitors in that mix, even the silence counts as being a traitor. NOW is the time to speak up for Class Woman, not throw us under the bus.
