Kick-arse feminist conference in Manchester, Oct! FiLiA

There's a feminist conference in Manchester 20-21 October, it looks really good - proper broad range of subjects. Like many of us on FWR, it was the trans debate that last year prompted me to actively engage in feminism, but I'm feeling ready to start deepening my understanding of the wider theory, history, and activism. Do any other feminism newbies fancy going? Or oldies?! We could send a mumsnet contingent ... Plus there's a party on the Sat night

The FiLiA 2018 conference brings together sisters taking down patriarchy, fighting injustices across the world, fighting violence towards women, pay disparity, discrimination against refugees, racism, classism. No topic is taboo. All are welcome.
