Kick-arse feminist conference in Manchester, Oct! FiLiA

There's a feminist conference in Manchester 20-21 October, it looks really good - proper broad range of subjects. Like many of us on FWR, it was the trans debate that last year prompted me to actively engage in feminism, but I'm feeling ready to start deepening my understanding of the wider theory, history, and activism. Do any other feminism newbies fancy going? Or oldies?! We could send a mumsnet contingent ... Plus there's a party on the Sat night

In previous years, if women from FWR wanted to meet up, the organisers can often provide a small room as a hang out. This happened last year in London.

buffet options - it’s bring your own with nearby shops available. I’m bringing packed grub so I don’t miss anything.

Just looking into this. For anyone who's been before, what's the Saturday evening like? Will they release the programme for the weekend beforehand?
