WTAF is going on here?

Last night I posted a post, once it posted I was locked out of my account. No amount of trying could get me back in and two emails to MN unanswered.

So, am I suspended, banned, a glich? I don't know.

As you can see I've only added a 2 to my name so not hiding or tryng to deceive if I have been suspended or banned. Not trying to circumnavigate the rule, just trying to find out WTAF is going on around here.

Foĺlowing talk guidelines or not if you're banned or suspended you should be told why.

Not always. I had my account shut down a few years ago by an overzealous mod who made a mistake. I didn’t receive any email notification.

I got a very nice apology afterwards.

It seems unnecessarily rude to ban people and not tell them why though...

Still no email and I've posted on site stuff.

I created a new email account for this user name but have forgotten the password so I won’t know if I get banned until I can’t log in. But if I log out I won’t be able log back into MN either as I have forgotten that password too. I would have to create a new account just in case I wasn’t banned. I created a new email address today anyway. Google asked me for gender - I said bear and you must address me as ‘other’ (didn’t give me an option of what the ‘other’ pronouns are so I guess other must be it - I would have gone for growl and grunt as I think they are good bear pronouns).

There's definitely something technically amiss with MN today - lots of double-posts, pages taking aaaaaaages to load. Possibly connected?

If we're sharing top tips, can I offer up "wear sunscreen"?

Maryzsnewaccount to get the 1000 post limit on threads go to Preferences and at the bottom of the page select mobile site.
Choose 1000.
Save
Then at the bottom select desktop site. It should stay at 1000. It used to.
