Guess how I got suspended from the Labour Party?

Well, one of the weirdest days in my life concluded with me receiving a letter informing me of my immediate suspension from the Labour Party. They believe I may have breached the rules by subverting the intention of All Women Shortlists, Women’s Officers or minimum quotas for women. Unfortunately, this does mean that my political ambitions are on hold for a while. I shall of course be continuing to self-identify as a woman every Wednesday, as that is my gender identity...

I have to say a huge thanks to @namechangeah for all her help, guidance and, more importantly, proof-reading! I wouldn’t have gotten to this point without it. I’d also like to thank everyone for their support today. I hope this has helped a bit.

And the Telegraph called me an “activist”! Achievement unlocked Grin

After all, we know other women’s officers had ID in their “dead name” because they were begging on Twitter for money to replace it. So no ID in the new womanly name. What makes you different?

Why is it acceptable for Labour to disrespect your gender identity?

Looks like Labour have done a u-turn on their self-ID policy before it was even announced this evening. If they don't accept your self-ID they haven't got a self-ID policy.

The pink news article says that they are reiterating self Id access to aws etc. But also that they will seek out and reject false claims (wtte).

That’ll be why Aornis, too much concern for women. I think to do it properly you need to be committed to the erasure of women by full scale chucking under a parade of buses

@Terfing After much thought * , I went with “David”. A typically feminine name isn’t part of my gender identity and I’m comfortable with the way my name sounds.

It must have been quite a day today, I’m another who is sorry but unsurprised at your suspension. You’ve exposed the total farce that is self ID to lots of people which is a win.

Now, more importantly...are you wearing something suitably girly tomorrow, or sticking with your GNC stance?
