A meeting in Tod !!! . I'd love to be able to go but not easy for me to get back from public transport wise.

Great location though for drivers in Manchester Huddersfield Halifax Leeds etc. And of course for the Hebden Bridge Massive.

Yes! Home of incredible edible, right? Where I live has taken some of those ideas - herb bushes instead of shrubs and tumbling tomatoes instead of flowers in hanging baskets outside all the community buildings, etc.

I'm going. It's literally just down the road from me. Trains to Manchester at 22.55, 23.19 and 23.35 and trains to Leeds at 23.23 and 23.51 plus one train in each direction after midnight (there are earlier trains obviously but these are the later ones should anybody fancy the pub).
I'll have my baby with me so no late pub for me. We can play guess what the baby was assigned at birth!

Getting home is going to be tricky / involve an expensive taxi ride, but it’s the first time I can realistically attend one of these, so am going to.

Further thought - would a secret Facebook group or similar for those of us wanting to coordinate transport be worth doing?

I would be happy to organise a minibus or similar to help other wims get to this, but for obvious reasons I don’t really want to say what town I’m from on a public forum.

My mum will be away and one friend is busy, one's DH is away so she's on DC duty. I'm going to take a risk and ask a couple of local acquaintances. But I have about an hour's drive so some people may be on my way.

I'm definitely going and agree that we should create a group to arrange travel as I'd be driving so can help out.

I'd like very much to go. Need to look into it. I'm in W Yorks.

A word of warning if you are getting the train: Northern are absolutely awful at the moment. Evening trains are especially badly affected from Manchester until after 7pm.

All the trains are a mess currently. Since the new timetables came out, I haven’t had one journey that ran on time, and I’m a regular commuter who catches 2 trains a day.
