It's publicly funded too.

I feel physically sick.

A publicly funded exhibition that openly condones violence against women.

Can we tweet and write to the funders and the library?

here's an example

That is very horrible. How on earth can that be considered art?

Ritzsaltedcrackers · 25/04/2018 08:33

It’s not art. It’s open, blatant misogyny. Horrific.

Ritzsaltedcrackers · 25/04/2018 08:37

‘The Degenderettes are a humble and practical group’

What the actual fuck.

Awks · 25/04/2018 08:38

What is wrong with people? That's beyond bad.

Ereshkigal · 25/04/2018 08:44

Come across these arseholes before. Also gendertrender article about the "Trans Dykes". Aka violent males.

gendertrender.wordpress.com/2017/06/27/transdykes-the-anti-lesbian-antifa/amp/

nauticant · 25/04/2018 08:44

That is foul. I wondered whether there would be any sense in the comments on twitter and it's largely tweets that are cheerleading violence against women. There was this one sensible tweet which summed things up neatly:

Fucking psychopath incels.

Ereshkigal · 25/04/2018 08:53

It does nauticant.

Ritzsaltedcrackers · 25/04/2018 09:05

They have a child and teen section, what are they teaching the next generation?

Janie143 · 25/04/2018 09:06

This is what actual hate speech looks like Yet IW at al claim MN is a hotbed of hate speech against trans people

picklemepopcorn · 25/04/2018 09:07

If it was recognising a movement, a moment in history that needed recording, that would be one thing. But this is celebrating that moment in history.

Janie143 · 25/04/2018 09:14

It's not even history it is right now

Ritzsaltedcrackers · 25/04/2018 09:18

If you have a minute please contact the library to express your disgust at

MsMcWoodle · 25/04/2018 09:49

I tried the form, but kept getting errors. Have now sent a facebook message, but doubt they will care.

Ritzsaltedcrackers · 25/04/2018 10:07

Try the two email addresses above too Ms? as the form didn’t work for me either

LaSqrrl · 25/04/2018 10:40

Who the heck curated that 'exhibition'?

Violence against women is now considered 'activism'.
Riiiiight.

Ritzsaltedcrackers · 25/04/2018 10:47

Not just activism but art. That children can see. Terrifying.

YetAnotherSpartacus · 25/04/2018 11:19

Substitute a euphemism for any group other than women on that t-shirt and it would be seen as hate speech or speech that might incite violence. But women are fair game.

It's disgusting.

Pickleshickles · 25/04/2018 11:24

I note on their post about it they leave out the punching and baseball bats. m.facebook.com/story.php?story_fbid=10155987413175609&id=25446770608

TheCountessofFitzdotterel · 25/04/2018 11:34

Gosh. Talk about creating an unsafe space for women.

BeUpStanding · 25/04/2018 13:42

I read the accompanying blurb to the 'I punch terfs' t-shirt... Shock. TERFs are deliberately trying to make trans people commit suicide??!!! Where is this belief coming from? Is there some anti-trans movement that I'm not aware of which is going round actively threatening trans people? Genuine serious question.

Ritzsaltedcrackers · 25/04/2018 14:02

TERFs are responsible for all trans murders and suicides, didn't you know?
