Lady Gaga and Rihanna accused of posting "transphobic" tweets

Because they didn't explicitly mention transwomen in their Women's Day tweets.

Lady Gaga said "We are the womb" which infuriated TRAs because of all the transwomen who don't have wombs. Lots of women have had hysterectomies and don't have wombs either but I don't see them throwing screaming tantrums on social media.

Rihanna's tweet involved an illustration of a woman pressing the button on a blender full of dicks. And of course this is transphobic because of the bounty of so-called 'female dick' out there...

The world has gone fucking mad.

VileyRose · 09/03/2018 13:29

That's ridiculous.

Gileswithachainsaw · 09/03/2018 13:32

Oh ffs seriously go blow up a library or Waterstones or something. You jeed to go further than a few tweets to be able to completey eradicate any mention of sex specific anatomy and biology

Surely the encyclopedia Britannica has and will be indoctrinating people way before and after the existence of rhianna Hmm

nauticant · 09/03/2018 13:38

It's great. We need more out of control narcissistic entitlement by TRAs who decide to attack anyone who accidentally walks into one of a million invisible and unpredictable tripwires. If they keep this up your average man and woman will start to see this and realise there's something very wrong going on.

0ccamsRazor · 09/03/2018 13:52

Thumbs up to Lady Gaga and Rihanna good to see high profile females making a stand Flowers

This, exactly. I'm all for TRAs showing just how pathologically controlling they are.

mooncuplanding · 09/03/2018 14:04

Rhianna's tweet actually doesn't sound very productive

I get it and maybe I'm being ultra sensitive and 'clean' but I don't like the violent aspect to it and not sure it does women any favours

BrendasUmbrella · 09/03/2018 14:06

You could say it was misandrist. But then why would transwomen feel personally attacked by misandry? They're women, remember...

Female dick

BrendasUmbrella · 09/03/2018 14:10

Actually I think it was a general anti-patriarchy thing.

It might be a Transwoman clicking the button for all they care.

athingthateveryoneneeds · 09/03/2018 14:45

Everything is transphobic. Everything.

Mogleflop · 09/03/2018 14:47

Was it called Transwoman day? No? Then it's transphobic.

Not that women are real women, mind you.

CertainHalfDesertedStreets · 09/03/2018 14:48

Rhianna's been exploited by dick-possessors left right and centre. If any woman has the right to blend a jugful of penises it's her.

Ritzsaltedcrackers · 09/03/2018 14:50

I really hope neither of them is bullied into issuing a grovelling apology.

crunchymint · 09/03/2018 14:59

However far you go to accommodate, more is always demanded.

Vitalogy · 09/03/2018 15:09

"We are the womb" Oow, I like that! To me, that means physical womb +++, we are the Goddess.

Ereshkigal · 09/03/2018 15:15

Was it called Transwoman day? No? Then it's transphobic.

They've already got umpteen days dedicated to trans. But they have to take over women's too.

SnibbleAgain · 09/03/2018 15:20

Ah, Lady GaGa I thought was a v vocal trans supporter.

I don't get it, they are biting the hand that feeds them?

noeffingidea · 09/03/2018 15:21

Lady Gaga being accused of transphobia. Lmao. I thought she was like the patron saint of gender fluidity (well after David Bowie of course). This whole thing does seem to go round and round in circles sometimes so that it becomes impossible to understand.

BeyondDeadlySiren · 09/03/2018 15:28

Ahh, does anyone else remember all the speculation when lady gaga was ‘new’ that she was a man...?

DonkeySkin · 09/03/2018 15:39

Rihanna's tweet involved an illustration of a woman pressing the button on a blender full of dicks.

Wow, Rhianna is hardcore Grin

Waddlelikeapenguin · 09/03/2018 16:33

"It's transphobic because some women have penises"
arrrrgggghhg no you idiot because biology.

Hoping this is the beginning of a backlash (yes i am delusional but it's that or utter despair Gin)

Elendon · 09/03/2018 16:43

Of course we are the womb. Every human on this planet has come from womb. Great tweet Lady Gaga. xx

As for Rihanna, well I couldn't possibly comment xx

noeffingidea · 09/03/2018 17:05

I've just checked out Gaga's twitter feed. There's like a million tweets saying 'love you Queen'. She's got so many fans she's probably immune to this kind of thing. Can't see Rhianna giving a shit, to be honest.
Didn't Beyonce get some kind of backlash for daring to show her pregnant belly at the Grammys last year? I expect she ignored it as well. Some people are untouchable.
