Wanted to highlight a couple posts from a longer thread:

If anyone's inclined to show Margot James some love on Twitter right now it would probably be a good thing! She's going to get a lot of flack.

I too have messaged her via her Website. I have never voted Tory in my life but feel so sad, angry and frightened about what is going on at the moment, that I just needed to thank Margot.

I got the nice reply, too.

With the horror that is ESA and PIP, Universal Credit (and its hidden cuts for disabled people) and open hatred of the sick and disabled who 'lie in bed with their curtains closed while hardworking families go off to work' (George Osborne), I am going to really struggle to vote Tory on the basis of this one re-tweet, or feel terribly grateful to MJ; the Tories/ right wingers strike me as a very dangerous and likely faux ally.

If being trans cost them anything I am damn sure the Tories would ban it immmediately, in the way they tried to exclude people with MH disabilties from qualifying for aspects of PIP even when they fulfilled the criteria.

However, I am also going to struggle to vote for Corbyn or the Greens now too.

Am I really going to have to choose which is the bigger 'evil'... being disabled and unable to work or being a woman...? I cannot identify out of either physical state.

We would emigrate to family abroad but idiot bastards have fucked that up with Brexit, and the Scottish who seem better in many respects to do with disability have gone more mad on Trans than this government.

Wish this was all just a bad dream
