Men come on here and interrupt discussions about, for example, DV and women's shelters, with 'what about DV towards men? Where are the men's shelters?'. They get told, quite rightly, that they are perfectly free to go and campaign and raise awareness and funds for themselves. If men want stuff to address men's problems, men should sort it out. Isn't this an example of that? They might show questionable working out in their figures, but show me a party that doesn't.

I find his language disturbing (among other things) - demanding access to children, as if they are some kind of shared driveway, neatly denying all the figures which show the reality of the situation, or accepting any responsibility for anything. The bitterness is strong with this one.

No yops that isn't what they are trying to do - if only. What they object to is women having hard-won rights, which they perceive as detrimental to boys and men (read: loss of privilege). It's a zero-sum game to them.

No Yops, organisations such as ManKind or MenUnited are examples of orgs that do that. This 'party' is an example of a man having what could best be described as a toddler tantrum for the masses. You could almost feel sorry for him if you didn't realise that he doesn't mean all men should be back in charge with women subservient, he means men like him, white, middle class, wealthy.

One only needs to look at the language he uses on his website "hatchet faced feminist" "whiny feminist" "lying feminist' "special snowflake" etc, and look at his book covers to see his feelings about women. He is a very bitter man.

More disturbing are his followers - a man who donated to his party describes (in horrific detail) his sexual assault of a young girl (sticking his hand up her skirt) and when said girl complained to his mother, he took this as evidence that "women make up lies about sexual assault".

It's frightening that these men walk our streets.

Dragging the UK back into the caveman era, that's what he's trying to do. Women are not equal to men. Things have got a lot better, but there's still a way to go before things are anywhere equal and it's taken centuries to get this far. When I see men sharing the childrearing, the household chores 50/50 and when I see a woman being paid the same as a man for doing the same work, then that will be better. At the moment the majority of single parents are mother's because the man has pissed off and left her to it. Many avoid paying maintenance (which society doesn't bat an eyelid at) and take no responsibility for the welfare or upbringing of their child. I don't hate men, there's a lot out there who are wonderful, but there's a lit of dickheads out there too.

I'm not looking up any more about them, the bit you've quoted is appallng enough. Everything women do is their fault and everything men do is as well.
