I too hope Dittany is still reading.

Dittany, your posts have often made for uncomfortable reading and your style is uncompromising - but that's why you have been such a valuable member of MN and the Feminist and Relationships sections in particular. We need someone like you to keep ripping off the grubby veils and exposing patriarchy and misogyny to the light.

I feel so much better informed and full of passion about the true meaning of equality since reading threads in this section and in no small way because of your comments on them.

Also, you are one of the very few people to actually get DH to admit he wasn't right about something (!) - definitely worth another bouquet.

I'm sorry you've been hounded off MN. But I know you'll carry on fighting the good fight using every opportunity that comes your way.

Dittany - you certainly woke up my latent feminism and made me challenge some long held views. You made me open my eyes to all the horrible little assaults women go through every day, assaults that I thought you just 'got on with' and were 'normal'. I'm now filled with a constant rage about how unfair our society is (so thanks for that! :D ) and a fire to teach my dds about how life should be.
