Had to look at the first link, to see what this was about, as I hadn't seen this before. I am glad to see it didn't get any further.

Anyway, I must send the original link this to my younger brother, I'm sure he will find it amusing as he is majoring in Women's, Gender and Sexuality Studies (known as WGS) at Harvard. (You can just imagine some of the comments he gets about his choice of major). I'm sure he'll be wondering why this guy applied to the course in the first place.

Wonderful decision NSF, and snigger indeed. I just love that this MRA went to Gender studies and then sued that it didn't include men. Huge fail. I'm actually pleased that we are no longer listening to this shite.

What comments does he receive and from whom?

Heh.

That's cheered me up no end.

Comments he has gotten (and still gets at times) from some of the boys (well I guess they're men now) he went to high school with, asking him why he wants to take such a "pansy" subject, and asking if he's gay. Stupid really, and he just laughs it off, he wants to be a human rights lawyer and a major focusing on equality is a good undergrad foundation for when he moves on to law school.

No-one at Harvard comments, they're all far too intellectually evolved to be so churlish.

And he has no right to appeal and will pay lse's costs. oh poor didums. I still want to send him a shit in a box!

SardineQueen · 16/03/2012 23:01

Tilly they will decide how much costs he has to pay after carrying out an affordability assessment thingy.

So maybe he won't have to pay anything?

That seems wrong.

Tom Martin's ignominious failure, and his hysterical reaction, is dealt with here:

Thanks for the update - I like the article.

Grin Grin Grin at "Damn those misandrist chairs and their man-hating hardness!"

I loved, loved some of those comments in the blog. There were some fabulous arguments, but I'm afraid being a Very Silly Person my favourite was

"Code: brown."

Also plan at some point to nick "Who left their cheese sandwich unsupervised at the keyboard? Because I think it?s typing."
