If you could choose any size/shape breasts, what would you choose and why?

I know it’s an odd / personal question, so obviously only answer if you’re comfortable to. Asking for my cousin who is having preventive reconstructive surgery and unsure which way to go. Thanks.

I have just had reconstruction after a mastectomy. I have gone down a cup size as mine were getting too matronly :). Having said that. Now theyr are where they should be (instead of around my knees) I have gone up a dress size as they are higher!

OnceUponATimed · 09/04/2026 22:34

Happy with my 34 Cs. Small enough to run around in a cheap sports bra. Large enough to take away from my wobbly waist.

greenteaandlimes · 09/04/2026 22:37

I have always been flat-chested but I’ve always loved my breasts - would always choose my AAs

Pinkgin00 · 14/04/2026 00:20

Mine have fluctuated over the years between a 32/34 D and E but over the last few months they seem to have gone up multiple sizes. My latest measurement is a G cup, my tops no longer fit, dresses are a nightmare, shirts gape. I liked having bigger boobs when I was younger but I would happily swap for a B or C cup now.

Imustincreasemybust · 14/04/2026 08:43

Like many PPs, I’d love to be 34B

Question though for those of you who hate their FFs.

Would you really rather be me who post menopause has increased from 34 AA to 34A or have you felt more feminine with your larger boobs in the past?

Oh I love my G cup. But then I’m not size 6-8 again nor am I 17. Embraced my hourglass figure which was already there really.

I have always had huge boobs for my size. I weigh eight stone and they’re 30GG.

30D would be so much more comfortable.

Wow that is a big size for a small frame. Don’t say I blame you wanting smaller.

Chocaholick · 14/04/2026 09:28

Probably a C cup. Mine fluctuate between 34D and 34E, they get swollen and painful in the week before my period and are just a bit too big for certain clothes to hang nicely. I also end up in the ‘DD+’ bra section a lot and therefore have to buy the ugly version with thicker straps, less plunging cups etc

Myoldbear · 14/04/2026 09:30

I'm slightly the smaller side of average, which I've always been happy with.

The reason is that I've been lucky enough to never to have to give them a second thought.

Rituelec · 14/04/2026 09:32

I spent my whole youth wishing for bigger boobs! Now I am 39 and just happy with them finally. I can sleep on stomach, dont need a bra and no man gaze on them!

Id probably make them more pert though!

Vroomfondleswaistcoat · 14/04/2026 09:32

Small. Just enough to let it be known that you have boobs, that's what I'd like.

I've had, not huge, but fairly large, boobs since puberty. Clothes don't hang right, I always look fat because everything goes over the boobs and straight down, unless it clings so tightly that I look as though I'm entirely made of chest. Running and horse riding are uncomfortable without scaffold-grade bras. I've got a small waist and not big bum (I'm a size 10) but often have to buy bigger to get things to fit over the norks.

So I'd like a smaller cup size next time round, please. I'm DD now and I'd quite like to be a B cup. Thank you.

I agree, my shirts also gape, T shirts can look a bit matronly, I always have to wear a bra otherwise I look like I’m heading to a wet T shirt competition 😆 a C cup would be lovely, nice and curvy but not saggy/painful and decent in tight tops

I am a size 12 with broad shoulders ,they don't look massively out of proportion on my frame, but they still make me look bigger overall. It's not that I hate how they look, it's how they limit me being able to wear certain clothes that is a pain. For example, I often have to size up on a dress to fit my bust , but then the dress doesn't hang right everywhere else.

PedanticPrincess · 14/04/2026 09:52

Mine are big, 36GG and I would miss them if I didn’t have them anymore. I have quite a large bone structure and am fairly tall so I don’t find them a hindrance in any way. I like the way they give my body shape, they balance my larger stomach too.

I’m a 28FF. It sounds a big size but isn’t really. The cup size is so much smaller with a small back size. I’m perfectly happy with them. They suit me. I do find that I have to alter some clothes to fit properly though.

Flat, non-existent, minimal boobs are my dream... I have huge boobs and absolutely hate them. I've lost a lot of weight over the past year but the boobs are still the biggest thing about me and I wish they'd just sodding well give up and go!

As someone who did have flat minimal boobs before having children, they were horrible with clothes. Tops and dresses would hang to my (not very big) stomach. Now I’ve got more
up top, clothes look so much better.

I guess you always want the opposite of what you have got though!

RaraRachael · 14/04/2026 17:41

I'd love to have smaller boobs than my horrible 36GGs. This morning I went for a massage. It's a nightmare trying to lie on my front trying to squish them flat in any comfortable way.
I'm very limited in what I can wear - anything that comes in at the waist is a no-no as is anything with a remotely low neckline.

Twoshoesnewshoes · 14/04/2026 17:43

Mine 😊
34B (actually a 32C but they look like a B)
they haven’t gone anywhere in 35 years!
