Robotic hysterectomy

My original consultant refered to me a colleague - who I really like and trust. He is recommending a robotic hysterectomy (assuming my health insurance approve it) and I have a slot holding, pending approval, for two weeks time.

Would love to hear experiences of robotic procedures and recovery times. And any other advice or words of wisdom.

Hospital would be London Bridge (which is new to me).

London Bridge is a good hospital - it's a private one down by the river, just a couple of minutes from Guy's Hospital.

I had one two years ago ( womb cancer). It was fine. I was out of hospital the next day. The small incisions were glued, not sewn. I was back at work ( actually in the office) after 4 weeks. Very little pain relief needed.
Two years on and you can barely see the scars.
It’s the way forward.
