High grade servere pap 6 months after lletz cin 1

Hi
I'm beside myself...I had a colposcopy in June after my smear came back high grade moderate...
Had colposcopy ,lletz and biopsy all came back cin1 this was 6 months ago...
2 weeks ago had my test of cure and my results have ckme back high grade servere has anyone has this...im freaking out its cancer the only thing keeping me going is the fact they did a colposcopy 6 months ago and hopefully would of seen cancer then 😭I feel this is the last Xmas with my kids and I'm struggling..please help

I am waiting for Biopsy results as well. Thinking the worst. I have health anxiety, so even normal things I think the worst. It is terrible. It also sucks what we have to go through :( Men are so lucky no periods, smears etc.

Are you trying to eat healthier? Take vitamins etc? I am trying to make sure I eat more fruits/veggies.

How long did they say your results would take? I had biopsy Wednesday and the Dr said one week. He thinks I need Lletz, but I opted to wait, as I needed to pick my 3 year old from nursery straight after and did not think I would be able to physically do it after...as I would want to rest, avoid pushing heavy stroller etc.

They said 2 weeks - I'll get a letter. Then, if all ok smear in 6 months

5 weeks! How long did they say it would take? Also was yours a CIN 1?

Yes it came back cin1 ,2 go back in July now for another smear and a look ...its never ending 😭

Do you think they would see you earlier if you mentioned about bleeding after sex? Hopefully, it is nothing. It is so stressful worrying about this stuff. I was so anxious and worried when I found out I had to do treatment. Now post treatment I am trying to forget, but I am due to be seen in 6 months and I am sure I will be super anxious just before.

I've asked ig they will yeh .I had it all removed 4 months ago apparently so anxious things have returned again. I'm hoping it's just brought my period om as due in 3 days but ...

It could be that if your p was due perhaps. Esp if the bleeding continued.

Hi so my period lasted for a week yesterday morning I had browny like blood ...so assumed my period wad coming to an end...me and my partner did the deed and straight after Bright red blood again 😭im petrified..I dont no if its left of period or something is really wrong ...I havnt had this before up to this month im worried in cc,endometrial cancer or vagjnal cancer

Just had my 6 month follow up it will be 4 weeks Monday and I'm completely beside my self with worry..we wsnt to have a baby and I'm waiting for these results before doing anything.. its horrible..it been nearly 4 weeks surely someone knows somethjng by now

Was this at the hospital? Didn't they tell you what they could see?

This was at the hospital yes and she did have a look ..she said she didn't see anything to worry about just my scarring but as I was so full of anxiety I don't no if she just said that to make me feel better.
Also she went in really deep so worried it might pick something further up in the canal😭..last few time I've had my smear at the docters and always got a text with a colposcopy app as I've had abnormal smear but not sure how this works now having had the smear at the hospital

I'm here for you. I had my test of cure just under 2 weeks ago and waiting for the results. But I'm pregnant so not much I can do if they are still positive! Did you ever have clear margins after the first lletz?

I apparently did from what she said but who knows all I no is it came back 😭at my 6 month test of cure so needed treatment again.. how many leetz have you had then. We want to try and conceive ASAP so hoping these results are atleast low grade so we can try...its horrible

What your Situation at the moment if you don't mind me asking

Oh gosh this scares me. Sorry that it came back for you.

I had cin3 6 months ago, I got told I had clear margins and I was fine to try and conceive. So I'm now in my second trimester and had my test of cure a couple of weeks ago.

I will freak out if it comes back positive, especially as they told me all was fine!

The leet treatment is normally 95 percent effective ..however I was in the 10 percent that ot came back 😭which dosnt make me hopeful to be honest ..
They did a smear then ? I thought they couldn't do one when pregnant ?
Are uncaring scans to monitor the length of the cervix due to have the lletz

@Bex4567 yes that is unlucky :-( but luckily they've caught it and can monitor and treat it accordingly. This is why 6 month check ups are so important.

Yes you can have a smear in certain situations (cin3 follow up being one) ... and I'm due my first cervical length scan soon x
