High grade servere pap 6 months after lletz cin 1

I'm beside myself...I had a colposcopy in June after my smear came back high grade moderate...
Had colposcopy ,lletz and biopsy all came back cin1 this was 6 months ago...
2 weeks ago had my test of cure and my results have ckme back high grade servere has anyone has this...im freaking out its cancer the only thing keeping me going is the fact they did a colposcopy 6 months ago and hopefully would of seen cancer then 😭I feel this is the last Xmas with my kids and I'm struggling..please help

They can tell you it's fine and they got clest margins but that dosnt mean it cant come back it did with mine 6 months later..not that that's so scare you..atleast your being monitored and when you've had the baby u can have the treatment if needed.. it won't progress to anything serious in 9 months anyway u will be fine

How long have you been waiting for the results? Perhaps bc you want to have dc they did not cut off as much to play it safe? They asked if I wanted any more kids and we have 3 and decided we are finished (im also 40) so I think if I said yes, they would have probably been more conservative with the cutting. I am just guessing though. I go back in October for a check up. I HATE going to these check ups.

I've been waiting 5 weeks on Monday and it's unbearable..when I went last time the second time she did the list I said I wasn't sure about more kids so she cut a big bit out but the nurse I saw recently for the smear said it was an ok amount and she has seen bigger cut away that have gone to have kids so..its just agony waiting for results not noing if we csn Try or not

@Bex4567 are you waiting for smear results of lletz / biopsy results? My last smear took 6 weeks - it's such a long wait!

Yeah awaiting smear results..my 6 month test of cure had a colposcopy at same time. She said she couldn't see anything of concern but 😭it's agonising we don't to try for a baby so waiting for these results. Will be 5 weeks Monday I keep thinking no news it good news but I don't no now 😭

Have you had your results yet from your test of cure

@Bex4567 I would say no news is good news for sure! If it was really bad I think they have a duty to get you in within 2 weeks. I hope you can start trying for your baby soon.

Mine was just over 2 weeks ago but still nothing yet. I keep running to the post box each day! Nurse told me 2-3 weeks.

I'm sure u will be ok your last 2 were fine wernt they...

@Bex4567 nothing yet. 3 weeks for me. I'm getting anxious too 😩

Just to flag there are a lot of delays throughout the country due to massive staff shortages. I contacted my local test centre and they had an 8 week backlog. So it may well just be sitting in a pile.

Just had my letter still positive but no cell changes 😭and nothing to be seen at colposcopy when she did smear so back to 3 yearl which I aint excepting no way

@Bex4567 that is positive news. Do you feel relieved? You can get excited now and starting planning for baby. I'm pleased for you :) hope I get similar results!

I'm relieved to an extent but the same time I dont think I should wait 3 years being positive still 😭considering my history ...im still positive which means cells can change at anytime

Just got mine @Bex4567 - clear of hpv after so many years 😭 so relieved!!!

I had something like this, I was bleeding after sex, last smear was a few years ago but normal, was examined, nurse was concerned as cervix didn’t look normal, went to the hospital, they thought it was an ectropion and treated it with silver nitrate, was bleeding again within a few weeks.

Was sent for a colposcopy and was told I had high grade abnormalities covering most of my cervix, needed LLETZ with biopsy, had to have it under GA because of the position of the abnormalities they accidentally burnt my vaginal wall while doing the silver nitrate (which was the worst pain I’ve ever experienced) and they were not confident they could remove it all easily with me being awake and in pain.

Had the procedure and biopsy came back CIN1, smears have been normal since then but ectropion is back. I won’t have it removed for the third time as I feel like I won’t have much cervix left!

I was told ectropions can cause false positives with smears and colposcopies.

What do you mean by smear a few years ago did u miss any or did u have them every 3 years
