I started with extreme pain, during my periods, over 2 years ago. Before this, I had a severe mental breakdown (unrelated - though both could be related to too much esteogen?!?!).
Anyway, I went for a smear, a few months ago and a polyp was found. My Gyn remove this and requested a transvaginal scan ( the wand) and an ultrasound because of the position of the polyp and because of the pain. Prior to all of this, about 5/6 years ago, I did have a missed miscarriage...anyway, today I have been for my appointment, and this is what they said...
They're sending me for a hysteroscopy because, as well as the polyp, there is what they believe to be a 23mm fibroid, I have an ubnormal vascular system, lesions and abnormal cysts.
Above is what I remember - has anyone had any of the above and can put my mind at rest?
The smear came back normal...and so did the polyp biopsy, but it seems like there is a lot going on down there - and I am only 35!
