I have read, or listened to, all of the books so far, and seen all of the adaptations so far.
I think Strike swears more in the books than he does on screen. Tell me if you think I'm wrong.
Also, I think he has 'got through more women', for want of a better description, in the books, than in the adaptations.
In the meanwhile, Robin's been engaged, married and divorced and she hasn't known about all of Strike's liaisons, I guess.

When he was 19, he met Charlotte and fell in love with her, I would say, and they were together for 16 years until they split, making him about 35.
I don't have all of the books on my shelves, so please can you remind me? We will count one-night stands as well as affairs of several months.
In 'The Cuckoo's Calling' he had one or two one-night stands with Ciara Porter. He's had a couple of similar with Bijou in 'The Running Grave'.
He had an affair with someone - was she a musician - for several months. Was she a Helen or am I misremembering?

There was Elin (?) who was going through a diffiuclt divorce. I think that was in the one with the serial killer who cut up Robin's arm just before her wedding.

Lorelei lived above her own vintage shop in Camden. She was good at blow jobs and cooking.

Madeleine was the jewellery designer with an alcohol problem who knocked Strike down in the street during an argument. They met at NYE in a Mayfair nightclub while he was working.

I don't remember which book they were in, they get blurry for me.

I doubt he gives them much thought these days.

He also has a one night stand with Nina in Silkworm.

Yes, he has relationships with Elin, Madeleine and Lorelei, and then one night stands with Bijou and Ciara.

No, they weren't. There's a reference to Tracey who was also in the army; Lucy wanted him to marry her. And a few unnamed women that caused Charlotte's jealousy to bring her back to him when they were on breaks.

Was she someone useful to get info from, maybe from a publisher's firm or something like that?

Pre book - Tracey - former fiancée. I think tracey was in army too so she must have been with strike after strike met Charlotte?

Ciara Porter - ons- supermodel.
Nina - the journalist Dominic Culpeppers nieces who Strike reluctantly sleeps with out of obligation after she got him into Roper Chard party & procures a copy of Bombyx Mori.
Elin - radio 3 presenter. Dull. Beautiful.
Lorelai - vintage shop in Camden. Strike has to rest out a level injury there for several days & then runs a mile.

Madeline Coulson-Myers - jeweller. Nasty when drunk.

Bijoux - unfortunate distraction. Attention seeker.

I thought how Madeline was portrayed in the tv adaptation of Ink Black Heart 🖤 was savage.

Yeah Ryan is a recovering alcoholic so I'm expecting that to raise its head again

My prediction is Ted will end up living with Pat and her husband Dennis. Dennis will be Ted's carer. (a bit out there and sub plot I know)

My prediction is that Bijou’s baby is actually Strike’s, but after she realised he wasn’t that well-off she pivoted to her wealthy ex. There was too much stuff in there about her stealthing condoms off for my liking. I’m expecting it to come back into play after a book or two. The baby will have pube hair and look angry I expect…

I think you make some valid points here, Dolphinnoises. The Bijou tease might just have been a plot piece for the one book or she might be keeping it up her sleeve in case she needs to pull it out in the future.
So we had Robin off the pill and Bijou's condom activities in the last book, as well as trying to survive that place.
Once, I don't know in which book, Cormoran described himself as being merely 'a shudder in his father's loins'. Look well if.............
