I love a good psychological thriller! I haven't read since before having my son 3 years ago, and I've stupidly got used to playing on my phone too much.

I loved behind her eyes, behind closed doors, the couple next door, Gone girl, girl on the train etc!

Can you recommend me a great gripping psychological thriller?

The Last Lie - Alex Lake
Sometimes I Lie - Alice Feeney
Both really good.

I second And Then She Was Gone - Lisa Jewell - I think this is her best book.

Just read an intriguing book, strange but gripping once you get into it, called the Last House on Needless Street. I've never read anything quite like it.

The Party by Elizabeth Day

Our House by Louise Candlish, has been a tv drama.

I've also read The Last House on Needless Street. Worth a read , although v disturbing!

Engleby by Sebastian Faulks is really good, v well written .

I tried to read one of Mo Hayder's books - Pig Island. It was the most awful book I've ever read. Gratuitously violent, weird and unbelievable with a poor narrative. I put it down half way through.
