Thanks for the clues I’ve got most only remaining apple, book of rivers and confidential learning

What's another word for confidential? And it's not learning about the present.

InMySpareTime · 10/11/2022 18:24

@Amaksy where are the rivers?

Amaksy · 10/11/2022 18:25

@Amaksy those rivers are all located in the same city. It's a series of books about police, faeries, river gods etc.

Going to read up clues again about the apple as that’s my last one and it’s bugging me but I’ll take a break thanks to low battery and dinner call.

It's a legal term that sounds a bit like the literal clue.

ARGH,I STILL can't get the apple one - have read so many hints and am just having a total mental block..it's my last one - take pity. Sounds like/rhymes with/written by 😉

Panicmode1 · 10/11/2022 18:55

OK, have just got it🙈!

BestIsWest · 10/11/2022 19:09

Oh FGS have just worked out the apple one. What a crap clue.

I love that series. Well worth reading - it's the first clue I got.

JustKeepSlimming · 10/11/2022 19:18

I'm stuck on big and small life and the musical heels

CaptainMyCaptain · 10/11/2022 19:21

'I'm stuck on big and small life

Just rephrase that. It's an awful book. My book club uses that as a standard to measure awfulness of other books by. Misery porn.

CaptainMyCaptain · 10/11/2022 19:22

The other title in that section refers to there being more than one of them.

CryCeratops · 10/11/2022 19:32

@JustKeepSlimming the musical heels one - the pattern on the dress is a clue. Think Greek mythology and heroes killed by arrows.

JustKeepSlimming · 10/11/2022 19:33

Got them, thanks!

OakleyStreetisnotinChelsea · 10/11/2022 20:00

Phew! Finished!

Lizziebadger · 10/11/2022 20:57

Help please! Just have the canary in the birdcage to go… clues please!

InMySpareTime · 10/11/2022 21:05

@Lizziebadger if you interviewed the creature what would you be able to say about it?

Lizziebadger · 10/11/2022 21:09

I’ve tried Birdsong, Sing like a Canary… nobody else seems to have an issue with this one, but I am going crazy!

BestIsWest · 10/11/2022 21:12

What is the creature in, what is it doing and do we wonder about it?

Lizziebadger · 10/11/2022 21:16

Got it, thank you! Know the author very well, but not read this one… yet! Thanks for your help!

Amaksy · 10/11/2022 21:18

@HauntersGonnaHaunt lol no way I’m laughing as I type. Got “nearly there” on first go using the word and was like you’ve gotta be kidding.
