Off on holiday in Feb and I need something that will keep me gripped on the plane!!

I have never ever read a book more terrifying than The Treatment by Mo Hayder, which I have now read multiple times and need something in a similar vein.
I've read and enjoyed Tess Gerritson, Mark Billingham but nothing has got me like Hayders books.

Any suggestions at all gratefully received!

@Crucible i tried to read The Snowman too, it gave me nightmares and I had to give up on it. I've never picked up one of his books again

Oh I hear you @princessspotify
I had to read it to the end so I knew at least it was resolved.

.... I should add I've given up all books like it. The only books I ever read that can have really terrifying parts now are Jack Reacher books, even those hve gone off the boil since Lee Child gave them over to his brother. I don't do scary films either.

Anything by Chris Carter.

Sorry posted too soon. Anything by Chris Carter. They do go in a line so start at the beginning.
Next try the Darby series by Chris Mooney. Very good.
Tania carver books are good.
Depends on ur level of scary but C J Tudor writes amazing books. Some say scary.
