Hey everyone! Wondering if anyone is interested in another support group? I'm about to return to meetings in a week or so and I'm in desperate need of extra motivation. I've done so well in the past and I've backslidden so much :( I've also got about six stone to lose so it won't be an easy journey.... but I'd love to share top tips and support if anyone else is interested?

Welcome sleslieuk! I haven't used the app in ages - how have the forums changed?

I've done ww before and found it easier to stick to because you can adapt it as you need to - so we will all cheer each other on to a slimmer xmas! The warm weather always seems to help I find with eating better - I don't want to eat anything unhealthy when it's all sunshine and hot out.

Thanks Tiger!
WW don't have forums anymore just something called Connect. Not as good. Sx

Blondielongie · 02/07/2017 17:06

Pippa, I had another rissole and chips. How many points is in a small fish and chips just the chips? I would say I had half of them..

Tiger. I am opposite. Warm weather = icecream!!

PippaRose · 02/07/2017 19:05

Blondielongie my app says 25 pts for a small portion of chip shop chips. They were worth it.

Currently cooking up some Indian food for dinner. We have a market stall that sells the spices and the only pointed food in the recipes is the meat/lentils. So good!

Blondielongie · 02/07/2017 19:14

They really are worth it. Ah I love lentil curries. DS eats them too.

I sometimes put extra chilli flakes and a dollop carefully weighed portion of fatfree yogurt on mine :D

TheTigerWhoCame2Tea · 03/07/2017 22:47

Hey everyone

So I went to weigh in today - for the first time. It was much as I expected. But I'm feeling super focused and hopeful about the week ahead

I'm sticking to fairly simple stuff tomorrow to ease into it, but then thought I'd be a bit more adventurous on weds and give that quorn a go!

I've also decided to get my hair done, to give me a bt of a boost. How's everyone's week going so far?

Best of luck Tiger for the week ahead. Going ok here so far, have got the girls over Saturday for naughty food and bubbles so planning to use my extra points for that day.

Going to Turtle Bay tomorrow, no clue of points for that restaurant so will have to do best guess.

Hope everyone gets on ok this week.

Blondielongie · 05/07/2017 22:25

How's it going tiger? What did you eat today?
I had museli and Greek yogurt, then homemade ww fishcakes. (From an old ww book) and then lentils (again) for dinner.
It didn't amount to many points (or calories according to mfp) so had some biscuits too :)

TheTigerWhoCame2Tea · 05/07/2017 23:13

Hey Blondie

I've been pretty good today - cereal for breakfast, chicken salad for lunch and a Nando's fakeaway for dinner with chicken breast and a seeded flat bread and some home cut oven chips. I'm living in my points lol.

Fish cakes sound great. I got some aubergines today so I'm thinking of doing something with them tomorrow

How's things with you?

Morning everyone,

How are you getting on? I had a gain3lbs on Tuesday which I expected after the week I'd had. Wednesday I had a perfect on track day and yesterday I blew it.
I'm so frustrated with myself.

Back to it today. Determined to have a good loss on Tuesday.

Hope you all have good days.

PippaRose · 07/07/2017 08:56

Hi all, doing ok here but a few challenges as have beer festival tonight and am baking today for the weekend....will just have to do the best I can.

Hope you are all doing well and have a lovely weekend.

Blondielongie · 09/07/2017 06:55

How did you blow it mummy bear?
We 've had a big north cake in the house. I've been eating lots of it. But weighing it so I know how many points I'm eating. Weightwatchers hates butter doesn't it!

Blondielongie · 09/07/2017 06:56

Birthday cake I mean!

Mummybear1984 · 09/07/2017 21:30

I'm just struggling to stay on track. Just keep eating junk. I must get on track. Holiday is getting closer.

On a positive I went back to the gym this morning, haven't been for a while because I've had a bad back which I've been told is due to a twisted pelvis so got to take it easier however I'm trying to get back on track!

How are you doing?

Well done for weighing the birthday cake!

Blondielongie · 09/07/2017 22:24

I'm gonna give away the rest of the cake tomorrow. I keep eating it because it's there :( back on track tomorrow!
How have you got a twisted pelvis? Is that new or from having a baby?
Hope the gym is enjoyable anyway...I used to like going and switching my phone off for a few hours :)peace

Mummybear1984 · 09/07/2017 22:52

Think I got it from having my kids- eldest is 3 and youngest is 18months. Think the resulting pains from it have just got so bad now I couldn't ignore any longer! I've always struggled with my back which is why I'm determined to lose weight so I have less pain... hopefully!
However when I get back ache I comfort eat🙈 Vicious circle!

Anyway back on it, 6 weeks until we go away and I can get a good few lbs off by then!

I'm like that with cake- keep going back to it!

Blondielongie · 17/07/2017 20:48

Hows things all?

PippaRose · 18/07/2017 20:10

All ok here, am now 9lb down although have a few events coming up so hoping to maintain for a couple of weeks as opposed to gain!

How's everyone else?

Blondielongie · 19/07/2017 21:41

Well done Pippa! 9lbs is about the size of a newborn (a very strange way of measuring weightloss!) I'm losing about 1lb every 2 weeks now. Although, I'm finding it hard to resist things. Bought some digestive biscuits. Mcvities 'thins'. 31 calories per biscuit. Not overly satisfying!
Going to up the weightlifting now to try and speed it all up again.

PhDPepper · 27/07/2017 02:19

Can I join? I've been doing weight watchers for 4 weeks and haven't really seen any results until today. I think because I've been exercising it's coming off in inches. After 3 weeks of staying the same ive lost 10 pounds this week. It's been a really tough few weeks but I'm not giving up.

Want2bSupermum · 28/07/2017 12:24

Joining!!! I've been doing WW since March this year. I've lost 20lbs and I'm stuck at 171lbs. I've been hovering at this weight for 4 weeks now. I've really buckled down this week with tracking my points and walking from the bus to the office instead of taking the subway. Is a 20mins walk each way and at least in the morning it's not too bad with the heat.

Walking to work and back has made me a little bit more appreciative of where I live and work. I walk through Times Square and Rockefeller center. On Tuesday I stopped by magnolia bakery and got my in laws some cupcakes. Did very well not to eat them!

PippaRose · 07/08/2017 10:02

How's everyone going? I've maintained the last few weeks but on a push now to lose a bit more before my friends wedding
