Simple start..I'm going to do it again this week .

bishboschone · 20/08/2014 20:57

I'm amazed to be honest , I am very overweight but only a size 12 so I didn't expect to lose that much .

mopsytop · 20/08/2014 21:26

Nice work bish! How can you be v overweight and a size 12?

bishboschone · 20/08/2014 21:29

I'm 5 ft and have always weighed heavy due to a lot of riding when young and muscle . My ideal weight is 9 stone where I'm a 6-8... Seems along way off!

Toomuchjiggleinmywiggle · 20/08/2014 21:31

I'm kind of the same bish- I'm 5'5 and was 13'3 now 12'11.5 but hover between a 12 and a 14. Best way to describe me is compact. I have quite large muscles-quads and shoulders and friends always say they can't tell when I've put weight on. Just a shame I can Confused

bishboschone · 21/08/2014 09:15

My friend who is the same height and 12-14 but with slimmer legs is a stone lighter than me . Weird isn't it .

Toomuchjiggleinmywiggle · 21/08/2014 13:21

It's bizzare. I generally don't tell people my weight as it always leads to " don't be silly, your scales must be broke, are you sure?!?!" I think in a way I'm lucky as I could look a lot worse for my weight and height I guess!

Toomuchjiggleinmywiggle · 22/08/2014 11:38

How is everyone doing? I think I've gone from eating really well to not eating enough- I tend to do this, all or nothing kind of girl Confused

bishboschone · 22/08/2014 13:16

I'm a bit like that . I never get it right .When I'm dieting I sort of lose my appetite. It's very annoying !

mopsytop · 22/08/2014 14:32

I just ate a toasted cheese/ham ciabatta. yum but I'm sure v high in points

bishboschone · 25/08/2014 18:17

How is everyone doing? I drunk way too much pimms on Saturday but didn't eat much so I hope that evens it out!! Still doing filling and healthy and it seems ok. The scales will tell me I guess .

MercuryRising · 26/08/2014 07:28

Hi bischbosch. I have been out of control this weekend - unable to stop eating junk, but I have drawn a line and I am 100% back on plan from today. The worst thing is eating rubbish has made me feel rubbish Sad

bishboschone · 26/08/2014 11:24

I know it does doesn't it.

WhiteHairReally · 31/08/2014 22:57

Can I join the gang too please? Characteristically late.

JustAShopGirl, it was your post that particularly struck home -*'I'm starting online this week - I cried when I had to fill in my weight. I am heavier than I ever was. - NOT GOOD

Doing online because last time I went to a meeting it felt so patronising with the bikini comments - yeah right - I'm 50 and fat I really want to be "bikini ready" !! and the cut down on the booze but still have a tipple sometimes... I don't drink,'*

Almost snap - starting weight, age, height, attitude and I'm a non drinker too. Difference - I've just moved to a new city and just joined a new WW group. From experience, I NEED the group thing, I just don't have the willpower for online and alone, particularly in a new place where I know no one. It's early days, but the group leader is not in the first flush of youth and neither are the majority of the clientele. There was no mention of bikinis last week either!

First weigh in Wednesday evening...

F and H this week. I've done PP before - I've been doing this blinkin' diet thing so long I went to Slimming Magazine Clubs in the 80s!

How is everyone getting on? Especially you, JustAShopGirl?

AfternoonsandCoffeespoons · 01/09/2014 21:16

Oh can I join please? Just signed up this evening to WW online. Slightly concerned that lack of a group will mean I struggle, so hoping you lot might help instead!

Doing simple start as I'm completely new to WW and points terrify me!

Will read the thread properly and come back tomorrow!

bishboschone · 03/09/2014 07:29

Of course afternoon .. Not a lot of traffic on here but I am only 3 weeks in .

Stars66 · 21/09/2014 21:08

Hello, can I join to?

Signed up online 1.5 weeks ago as no time to go to meetings. And to be fair when I did WW last year I loved the tracking app and calculator and found the meetings full on older people and the leader a bit patronising.
Anyway, I could prob do with loosing 3-4 stone, which seems like a horrific amount. I'm 13.10 at the mo and 5.6, its just my huge post baby belly and bum. And I know I need to exercise, but I hate it, except swimming, which I'm trying to do on e a week.
I fell off the wagon all ready this weekend after trying hard all week. Am tempted to stand on the scales and see what damage I've done but know it's best to just get back on with the diet.
Ok essay over! Hope everyone has had a good wknd x

Chocoholic36 · 22/09/2014 09:40

I started today. 18st 12.5 I am devastated. How did I get so big? - well obviously I know but why didn't I stop myself? I'm the biggest I have ever been and I am going to lose it I have promised myself. I am a size 22 and would like to be able to fit in to a 18 by Christmas. My first goal is to loose a stone by the end of October.

I am doing small goals as the whole lot seems like such a massive task.

I am going straight in to points as the other one is a bit too like slimming world for me.

Breakfast is 3 rice cakes, 28g peanut butter and a banana for 7pp

Eightstonelighter · 23/09/2014 13:56

Hello, can I join too please!!! I'm a seasoned (Gold twice) WWatcher. Have dipped in and out for over 20 years.

@Chocoholic36, I was 19 stone in March 2011.

Always always had a problem with my weight my whole adult life and last time lost 8 and a half stone and went from a 22-24 down to 10-12 in 13 months in May 2012.

Here I am and in 8 months managed to put (eeeek) 2 and a half stone on. (Rubbish year, lost my Mum and Brother within six months so comfort eating was the way I coped.....)

So, started back online on 1st Sept and have lost 9lbs so far am far too nervous to do F&H because of portion control. I have to weight my carbs anyway because I'm Type 1 diabetic and need to calculate insulin. Am going to class too but intermittently because of work / kids etc.

I find clothes rather than lbs a better goal for me, setting myself three month targets, so getting into a favourite dress for Christmas is my goal......

As it's still warm(ish) am having half a tin of Ruby Red Grapefruit for breakfast (kick starts my metabolism - which is also rubbish).

My daily chocolate treats are Maltesters (5 to a PP); I leave the box in the kitchen pop my allowance in a bowl and have with an Options about 9pm.

Good luck to everyone on here, will log in again soon,
:D

SocialMediaAddict · 02/10/2014 21:33

Stars66 · 06/10/2014 18:08
