sorry bobbie, all I can think is that quavers are only about 100 cals a packet so you may as well have them

bobbiewickham · 28/03/2010 19:46

Oh god, duckyfuzz, really?

It's the thin end of the wedge, though, isn't it?

Something do to with idols and FEET OF CLAY. Did you drift a little bit out of the zone channeling "Ossum"?

dinkystinky · 28/03/2010 19:47

Bobbie - step away from the quavers. You're one of only about 3 people who havent been sin-binned today. Polish your halo instead

SuSylvester · 28/03/2010 19:48

oh grr
i sat and ate it and thought " i wont tell them about htis secret c/e"

then i thought "no they need to know"

so i fessed up cultural revolution style self denouncing

and you TURN ON ME

i haev now exhasted all my communist metaphors

less than 100kcal I think...87!!! Go for it!

bobbiewickham · 28/03/2010 19:49

Yes.

Will soup.

It will be much nicer.

(Yeah right. It'll be great to sit in front of the Dancing on Ice Final with a bowl of lentil soup and not a packet of quavers and a glass of wine)

MamaGoblin · 28/03/2010 19:49

Creme Chickens, lol.

Bobbie, they WON'T MAKE YOU HAPPY. They are just cheese-smelling chemicals and monosodium gluteywhatsit. Have some nuts instead.

bobbiewickham · 28/03/2010 19:50

87??

Really??

geordieminx · 28/03/2010 19:50

I had one of them new Brazer burgers from KFC....

But but but

I didnt eat the bread, and the "burger" ia just grilled chicken. And that was my dinner (bolognaise relegated to fridge)

BariatricObama · 28/03/2010 19:50

i am so in the zone i made dh taste the industrial amount of mini eggs i bought in costco to check they weren't cheapo american shite chocolate.

oh yes, i AM the zone and the zone is me [matrix]

bobbiewickham · 28/03/2010 19:50

True - they do smell a bit like baby sick.

duckyfuzz · 28/03/2010 19:52

I've just had a packet of smokey bacon walkers, to make up for MIL's crap catering, 131 cals, yummy

MmeLindt · 28/03/2010 19:53

If you are going to waste 100 cals, then do it on a good glass of wine. Not Quavers.

bobbiewickham · 28/03/2010 19:53

Oh God, smokey bacon

bobbiewickham · 28/03/2010 19:54

I'm going to have some corn thins.

I think it's crunch I want rather than flavour.

cyb · 28/03/2010 19:55

urgh I really didnt like those corn thins. had a weird chemically taste.

BariatricObama · 28/03/2010 19:55

its the salt. i ate some salty lettuce yesterday

fishie · 28/03/2010 19:56

i did mn marathon 15k this morning then rushed off to meet dh friends for pub lunch.

well we were there for almost four hours. i had two shandies, a chicken and bacon salad and some more salad. and a pitiful few whitebait as ds ate them all. there was annabel karmel kidpubfood it was revolting. left his rejected ice cream behind too so i am SAINT.

tonight have had roast tomatoes, smoked salmon, black forest ham and tiniest oxtail. really there should be more veg but i do have half a grapefruit in fridge which i will scoff now.

dinkystinky · 28/03/2010 19:57

what are corn thins?

duckyfuzz · 28/03/2010 19:57

fishie go to the top of the class, you are so in the zone

AuldAlliance · 28/03/2010 19:59

evening

I think a veil needs to be drawn over this weekend. Fresh start for Monday & all that.

I went to a "soirée irlandaise" yesterday evening in a residential centre for autistic adults, service was colourful, music too loud, lyrics inaudibly sung by a Frenchman.

I ate "typical Irish fare" (acc to French):

coleslaw
"irish stew" (actually delicious casserole)
coffee & whisky pud
1 glass red wine

today:
smoothie for breakfast
steamed salmon, peas & pots for lunch
yoghurt & apple compote (finishing off DS2's tea, blame him) @ 4pm
steamed spinach w grated cheese for supper

DS2 is all better, D&V over (thanks for advice ladies), but teething now.

BAD NEWS: DH spotted that I am not eating as usual, and said it was silly and that he likes the 'voluptuous' me.

Bad for resolve.

bobbiewickham · 28/03/2010 20:02

Auld Alliance, that doesn't sound too bad to me.

Don't be deterred by dh!

duckyfuzz · 28/03/2010 20:03

DHs not helpful I find auld, mine tried to persade me I was wasting away this morning
