Have had a better day today - now totm and I find that when I start my need to eat goes. I'm always bad the week before.
Have just had a big bowl of pasta with home made spicy tomato sauce - only thing was that it was very spicy - think I kind of overdid it with the chillies Oh well lets look on the bright side at least I tasted it!!!

I lost a pound last week and tbh I really didn't deserve to. I made the mistake of not drinking as much water as I usually do and so I didn't feel as full as usual. Instead I just pigged out on snacks between meals. I now realise what a big mistake this was and am now typing this with a bottle of water by my side although not within tipping distance of the keyboard!

I found out last weekend that we're going on holiday in september!!! That has really motivated me to keep at it. DH bought me an exercise bike, so I can do some exercise at home, and I am really sticking to the plan.

There's nothing like the thought of having to get into a swimsuit to motivate you that extra bit!!!!

I've had another good day Wanted something sweet mid morning but managed to hang on till lunch time. Need to do some exercise though as walking from the house to the car and the car to the office etc doesn't really count does it?!

I feel as though I've finally regained my motivation after a couple of weeks of sliding. My weighing-in day is tomorrow and I think I will have stayed the same weight rather than putting anything back on.

It's my mother who is annoying me at the moment. She keeps telling me how wonderful my brother is because he's lost 11lbs. Yes that's a great achievement. However she hasn't even noticed that I've lost nearly 2st in the same amount of time (almost half of that with mumsnet mamas) - and my brother is a lot heavier than me! Dh drops subtle hints when he sees her, bless him.

Aren't mothers the absolute end !!

I didn't tell mine to start with that I'd joined SW. Then when I did,(after losing a stone), she said,"about time dear, you are rather fat, aren't you?"

The thing is, I blame my mother for my weight problem, because I've always been overweight, even as a small(ish) child. I would like to think that if one of my kids seemed to be getting too fat, I would do something about it without them feeling like a freak!!

That's it, rant over!!!

Just been weighed and have lost 2lbs this week Am so pleased cos last week wasn't good but am motivated again. Have also managed to get rid of my laryngitis and chest infection but now have a tummy bug - Oh well can hope it does my weight loss some good

Everyone is doing fabulously - well done!!

This morning I am 9.1 - so have finally hit the 3 stone mark! Can't believe it. Next goal is 8.13 wow. And only 11lbs to go to target. Keep going girls - there is nothing to beat this feeling.

Hi demented - nice to see you missed me. I decided to take a break for a little while - had been neglecting the children. When it gets to the stage where your 4yo is shouting 'Mummy - HELLOOOOOOOO' because you have not heard her due to being rivetted to the screen, you know you need some time out. So will just pop in now and again to see everyone is doing.

Wow, miam, congratulations to you. I am being weighed in a 9.30 but had a pig out last night. I was 12 stone exactly last week.

Also well done on the self control with MN, I am looking forward to DH taking his office (and therefor computers) down to the cellar, less temptation then.

Does anyone have the up-to-date e-mail for YG, I think the one I have been using is out of date? Just had my mail returned this morning.

I have lost 1lb this week (didn't lose at all last week), total of 8.5lbs since January, frustratingly still not down to what I was before going on holiday in October but that's what I get for eating like a pig!

hi all well done on the weight losses. I'm packing today to go on holiday this afternoon - 2 weeks in spain, hurrah.

am totally confused now which week we are in and whether we are still posting to Yorkigirl but I lost 1 lb this week so 20lb in all - will try and email it.

also will try not to get too enthusiastic about spanish wine, sangria, wine, etc.

I can't find any results, and I posted on the S.W. thread by mistake , thought I was on this one!!!

Without our great leader (yorkie) to keep me straight, it's all gone horribly wrong!!!
