Stepped on the scales today and for the first time in years it started with a 10! Woo hoo! Only by the smallest margin my scales measure, but it’s something 🙂

So, time to get serious about the next 7lbs. 10st 7 was my ‘normal’ for many years and I would be very happy to get back to that, it will be a major milestone. After that, who knows? It would be ‘slim for me’ territory, and I’m starting to believe it might be possible, but one step at a time…

Anyone coming along for the journey?

When my daughter was a toddler she’d talk about ‘next tomorrow’ instead of the day after tomorrow, and ‘next next tomorrow’ etc.

So you’re on the next next 7lbs 😁

Thanks yeah I am feeling the difference, my work clothes fit again which is useful

Next next tomorrow is super cute. My toddler’s concept of time extends to ‘Now’ which has less room for negotiation

Hello everyone. I'm down one more pound, so that's a rate of one pound in five days which is what I expected.

I weighed in at 156lbs, which is a maintain since this time last week. I guess I sort of expected/ deserved that as sat, sun, Monday I was a bit off track as I was really unwell. I’ve hardly exercised and have had days where I’ve eaten a lot. I’m feeling a lot better today, still not 100% but much better. This week I’m determined to get properly back on the low carb wagon, I know it’s the best way to get results for me. Today I’m going for a run this morning, then this afternoon I’m going in to town to have a mooch round the charity shops and so should have a nice active day.

How's everyone getting on?
Once again I had a full on weekend, and was not good with my diet...
I feel bloated which makes me feel like I'm fatter, although I'm not, but I doubt I've lost

Not great @allthelinterdit, I’ve had really rubbish sleep over the last week or so and that always has me snacking to get through the day. Think things may have gone a bit backwards for me this week. 🤞🏻for some better sleep soon…

Lost 4 1/2lbs so far and im happy with that would like to lose a few more lbs before I go on holiday in two weeks. Still exercising 4x a week and tracking on MyFitnessPal. Weekends are definitely harder than work days too many opportunities to graze/not busy so thinking about food.

What exercise do you all do?
I mainly strength train these days and it's so difficult regarding weight, as the scales don't always suggest a loss but my clothes feel so much better

I've lost two pounds since I last posted three days ago. It's a bit too fast for me. I spent hours tidying in the garden at the weekend, and felt off yesterday. Spent the day doing next to nothing, and planning to take it easy today. But not going off-plan.

Total lost 5 lbs.

My exercise is mostly dealing with the messy house and garden, both of which have been horribly neglected this school year. Now that I'm not slobbing out in front of a screen with endless snacks, I'm moving about a lot more. I used to use a multigym at home, mostly weights, no longer possible due to arthritis.

Forgot I weigh the same this morning 9'13. but I'm having the period from hell again ( under investigation for endometriosis on my c section scar!) so I'm happy with that. Fingers crossed for next week 😆

I'm late to this thread so I'll wish you well and watch from the side as you'll help with the oomph that I'm trying not to lose!! I've lost 16.5 lb since late May. Am now "10 and a single figure"....just!!! 10st 9.5lb. In an ideal world I'd be 9st 7 for a family event in September. But that seems a loooong way to go ...in a short time! So the next 7lb it is! Here goes!! Good luck everyone!

Week 3 weigh in: 10st 12lbs - 5lbs to go

0.5lb off, not bad considering the week I’ve had 🙄😄 and progress still 👍🏻

Exercise wise I weight train one or two times a week, with a couch to 5k run here or there, getting towards the end of that now and actually did a (very slow) 5k at parkrun on Saturday.

Had a visitor yesterday, and I texted her beforehand asking her not to bring the usual treats, which she was happy to go along with. That was really nice.

Weather has been too wet to do much in the garden. I'm getting plenty of exercise when stuck inside, sorting out this house. Happy to report another pound lost.

Down another pound this morning, which makes seven pounds lost. Now §§st 7lbs.

Next block of seven pounds would mean better fitting clothes, perhaps down a size so I can get into things I haven't worn for ages.

Well done everyone. I'm 5lb down now, delighted with that. I would love to use another half a stone so I'm going to keep going.
