Hi ladies,

Here is the new thread. Weighed in at 9st1.75 this morning so up from the beginning of September. TBH so stressed and cold that all I want to eat is carbs, but I suspect I'm not alone.

Off up North this weekend. Hope everyone has a good one.

Oh @Octopus45 sorry to hear things aren’t great.

I’m on holiday this week and next so lots of eating out - but lots of walking too. My foot actually feels worse @LBB2020 !

i did measurements tonight for the first time since July - no change on waist/hip (29.5 and 39) but interestingly an inch and a half off under my boobs to 30.5, and an inch off over my nipple area to 35. That suggests hormones levelling off I think?

LBB2020 · 18/10/2022 22:44

Oh no @Judystilldreamsofhorses
Fingers crossed the hormones are settling down now for you
I fell off the wagon today, boredom eating this afternoon (slow day at work). Back on it tomorrow

Judystilldreamsofhorses · 18/10/2022 22:58

@LBB2020 I am not much of a snacker but have to really resist at work! I keep those M&S chocolate rice cakes in my desk drawer as emergency rations.

This bloody foot. The treatment is really painful and costing a fortune. The physio said it seemed less tender last week but it feels so much sorer after that last session. I really miss running! I am on my feet so much it is not getting rested I guess, today I have just been pottering around town/at home and done 16K steps.

mikado1 · 18/10/2022 23:08

I think there's guilt no matter what, octopus 😔 and I live nearby.
Quick check in, good day, lunch packed for tomorrow, 2h exercise. Despite this I feel bigger than usual, very much. Will keep going. Almost 3 weeks now.

mikado1 · 19/10/2022 11:01

Weighed this morning.. 1.75lbs down since 2 weeks ago... not super considering but right direction anyway. Hadn't realised how much I'd gained as I let the binging back in 😔 Anyway lovely lunch ahead and hopefully a good evening. Also prioritising good sleep and my skincare as part of overall looking after myself. Have a good day all.

Judystilldreamsofhorses · 20/10/2022 13:35

Well done @mikado1 Two non scale victories here this week. I met my friend for lunch yesterday who I last saw in the summer holidays, and she immediately said I had lost weight, and today I am in size 10 Levi’s 501s I last wore the week I got Mirena fitted and ballooned. (They do feel a tiny bit neater than I would like, but partly because I have been in mom jeans I think.)

Octopus45 · 22/10/2022 08:23

Thats good new on your jeans @Judystilldreamsofhorses , sounds as if your hormones are settling down. @mikado1 sounds as if you are doing really well, I'm impressed by your motivation.

9st1.5 this morning so up a bit, but haven't been doing enough steps recently for various reasons and eating still not great. My Sister might be bringing my Dad down for a couple of days next week, dont think he's going to be up to it tbh, but we'll see. Hope everyone has a good weekend and that the weather cheers up a bit

Oh gosh, thank you both for your well done, I don't feel I'm doing so great myself so it is appreciated! I had a McDonald's yesterday but it's a rare occasion so I enjoyed it and didn't do the usual Fri night of snacking etc, in fact had nothing after 5pm. Octopus you've done so well to maintain so well all this time..it sounds great to bring him down but as you say, not always ideal for the patient.. Judy, you and your jeans sound fab. It's amazing, even a few pounds can make a big difference to overall luck.

LBB2020 · 22/10/2022 11:43

Great news about your jeans @Judystilldreamsofhorses! And well done for keeping going @mikado1!
@Octopus45 you've done so well maintaining your weight while going through such a difficult time.
My week hasn’t been the best but not the worst. I’m not doing well with steps or drinking water and I’ve let a few too many sweet things creep back in! Must do better!

NutellaEllaElla · 24/10/2022 16:58

Hello. I'm not sure how long is been since I was here. Just catching up on the thread now.
I'm on a new day 1. Posting for accountability. I'm not weighing at the moment but will be at least half a stone up from my PB. Social eating has been my downfall since COVID restrictions lifted but I can't blame it all on that as I then adopt a real fuck it attitude that has impacted my whole week sometimes.

mikado1 · 25/10/2022 19:09

Good to see you Nutella! I am formerly a 'superstarDJ' from previous threads! Having a bad day or two with period coming but checking in for accountability.

LBB2020 · 26/10/2022 16:33

Hello @NutellaEllaElla good to see you back! My week is ok but I’m not completely back on track to be honest! I’m motivated for a week or so then it goes again 🙄the children have both been under the weather and it’s half term so just getting through the days as best we can!

NutellaEllaElla · 30/10/2022 08:23

Thanks for the welcome back. It's been a good week. Good to be back on track.

Octopus45 · 31/10/2022 19:50

Hi ladies,

Sounds as if everyone is doing well. My Dad passed away yesterday morning, in the end his liver failed, so I have been up North since last Wednesday.

Here is the new thread for November, excuse the unimaginative title.
