Am 80% to target, another stone to go.
Just wanted to share as I fit in a dress I thought I would never get in.

You are a great advertisement for weight loss surgery. Tbh it looks like more than 6 stone gone.

Musicaltheatremum · 27/05/2022 19:18

Fabulous! Well done you. It's so nice being able to buy things off the shelf. Sadly I'm fat again. Ugh hate myself.

Can I be really vacuous and ask what dress size you think I am from these photos? I do have a reason for that

It's hard to tell in that dress but I'd guess you are a similar size to me and I'm a 12.

PonyoLovesSouske · 27/05/2022 19:24

I asked because I can only just fit I to the dress, not sure I could sit down in it, and it's a 14. So I think that brand must run small as most of my other dresses are 12 and roomy.

I think looking at the photo's, that you are now a utterly fabulous 10/12 ,having previously been a 22/24 ?

It doesn't look as though you only just fit into it , is it the style do you think ? Its supposed to be very fitted on top , pushy uppy booby style. Do you think its because you have previously avoided non stretch type garments so being in something fitted feels a bit weird ?
Regardless, you look gorgeous Smile

Readtheroom · 27/05/2022 19:30

Did you go to the gym, private training? I would love to lose weight. What about the mental wellbeing aspect of it as well. I know there's a phycological aspect. Just all in all how have you done it?

Possibly! 😂

I do feel very 'Downton abby' in it. Maybe it is the fact I'm not used to anything structured

It was all the sleeve honestly. I wouldn't say I've changed my eating habits enough, I need to work on myself still, psychologically. But I'm physically unable to eat an amount that would allow me to gain.

I haven't stepped foot in a gym or done any exercise.

But I plan on doing so soon, to lose the last stone and tone up.

You look amazing, you really do. I'd guess you're a size 10-12. Welldone on the weight loss.

Twinsandsome · 27/05/2022 19:59

Hi how long did it take you? What is an average days food like? You look
amazing and should be so proud of yourself x

Onwards22 · 27/05/2022 19:59

You look amazing and that dress is beautiful.

Now the summer is coming and you’re able to wear pretty dresses and have more energy your mind will start accepting yourself and you’ll gain more confidence.

Just try and remind yourself how difficult minor things were like worrying about the size of chairs and the cinema or getting out of breath walking your child to school etc.
You look great but the weight loss has so many more benefits too.

Do you know roughly how many calories you were eating or did you just eat until you were full?

Riddlediddle · 27/05/2022 20:08

@PonyoLovesSouske you look incredible well done you! I bet your confidence has rocketed hasn't it.

Viostep · 27/05/2022 20:17

You look amazing. What a difference!
I'd love to get a sleeve but can't afford it. Did you get it here or abroad? Did you find it difficult to get used to your new way of eating?

Applesarenice · 27/05/2022 20:21

10-12 you look fab xx

I'm 10 months out.

I eat what the kids eat but avoid bread, pasta and other carbs. Maybe quorn sausage, egg and tomato for breakfast or a 25gprotein yogurt.
Lunch, tuna mayo salad.
Dinner chicken breast, salad, maybe a chip or 2.

Thats on a good day though 😂

I went abroad. I was referred by my GP as my BMI was 40+ but they said assessments before approval were taking upto 4 years because of covid backlog and someone I knew, who had waited 2.5 years got rejected.

I couldn't afford UK prices so I went to Turkey.

It took me a good 5/6 months to get used to it.

I'm completely fine now but I did have quite a few 'wtf have I done?!' moments... But they were because I wanted to binge eat and couldn't. My head hadn't caught up with my body. It has now, thankfully.

PonyoLovesSouske · 27/05/2022 20:28
